User Reviews for Acer Iconia Tab W500

Great little tablet. My first unit came with a defective SD slot. Was replaced under 30 day Replacement Guarantee. The processor is a bit underpowered, but quite usable. Have played UT 2004 with full quality graphics. Games like World in Conflict Soviet Assault, Company of heroes are playable in lowest quality settings. Got a SDXC card (64GB) for storing videos and music. Is now my primary computer.

But when i went through its specs.. aaah! my dearest windows 7 OS!ni think if u are a little intelligent user and not a mac person, then this is the only tablet to go for.nU can do a lot more with a windows device.nnIf u have lots of money and want to play games and watch videos and browse the internet, u'll end up buying samsung galaxy s2 or probably galaxy tab! but i tell u, this device would obv do all this and a lot more (coz its a windows device!)

the tablet is great with windows os. it surely will create way for windows to enter the tablet field. would have been great if the pricing was still relaxed given the make quality.hats off to acer with the initiative.touch panel works cool processor can be worked upon still to be more efficient.if u posses some windows based application and fine using them then go for this than for acer w500 the android version. the docking station is cool and comfortable and just adds to the coonectivity

Windows O.S. is a great feature in this tablet but, I would have purchased it, if it would have featured with a voice call facility and standard USB port and atleast 5000 mAh of battery!! Its better wait and watch for now!
