No doubt the price is attractive and is one of the best value tablet in the market, after sales service is pathetic.nFirst quality testing before shipping the products into the market is really poor. Whichever Asus product I bought had some defect in it.nThe major defect was in the TF300T which I got from US. It had 4 dead pixels. After a few days the mic went off and I decided to get it repaired in Mumbai. And the best part is they take around a month to get the part from Taiwan. After that add a week to get it repaired.nAfter that I got the tablet home and guess what. It was not connecting to the dock and no Audio from the Audio jack. Again I sent it for repairs. Now finally after spending a day at the service center they repaired it and it now looks like a second hand tablet. In short I wasted 3 months and 500Rs and 40hrs of my life for this stupid service. They keep you waiting for minimum 40 mins till someone picks up the phone on the helpline.nYou need to put up a fight to get things done. The people at their so called third party service centers aren't trained to repair such tablets. I hope this help you people.

I bought the transformer TF300TG from flipkart. The product had a defect. The device did not recognize 3G or 2G signals and to mention the after sales service 'Pathetic' to the core. I have seen such a worst service by any Top Companies. I dont how ASUS with this kind of service is in 5th place. I recommend plz do not buy asus.

I purchased this device almost 10 months back along with the dock from amazon.com at cost of 520 USD. With the dock attached, it is as good as a personal laptop. My personal laptop usage includes web surfing, accesing social network websites, watching movies, reading books, playing games and I could do all these things with this awesome product.nnThis is one of the premium tablet and of course deserves comparison with other premium tablet , "IPAD" which would also cost at almost similar price. nnPros:n1. Flexibility offered by Android tabs: I never liked content management offered by Apple products. n - All access has to be made using itunes, incompatibility with some of the vidoe formats. With android OS, you can install apps like VLC which would make all video formats compatible on your tablet. Check with ipad users about hassles watching movies/videos on ipad.n - USB connectivity: I might not be aware of any third party device which would enable accessing USD devices from Ipad, otherwise there is no way to access USB devices (like USB HDD) from ipad. In AUS transformer with the dock, I can connect my 1TB poratble HDD and access all the data directly :). That's the most useful feature I've found so far in my tablet. n2. Apps and browsing: There is no point in comparing availability of apps in android (google play) vs app store here, but I can do 80-90% of the browsing using apps (wikipedia, gmail, gtalk, facebook, linkedin, times of india blah blah.. ). For rest of the 10-20% of the stuff without any app available, I can use the browser which is pretty fast.n 3. Game playing and performance. This is 1.2 Ghz quad core processor, little slower than 1.6Ghz quad processor offered in ASUS TF700 model. But still game playing experience is pretty good.n 4. Display and touch: No one can beat ipad in this. But display resolution and touch performance by this device is not bad at all. nnCons:n1. Unstable OS upgrades; I generally found few bugs in the tablet working after firmware upgrades. Maybe ASUS team is not testing the firmware releases properly, anyway they do address these bugs and send a new upgrade file in 1-2 weeks. I think this happened twice with me.n2. Customer support: Fortunately my device is still working properly and hope it continues. So I never had contact customer care. But from whatever reviews I've read so far on numerous websites on the net, I assume customer support by ASUS is not as great as Apple.
