I bought ZenFone 2 -1.8 Ghz because 2.3 GHz was out of stock and I'm kind of impatient :pnnFrankly, Asus ZenFone 2 is the BEST phone right now in the market having features of 50k mobile in 19-20k. The phone had some problems in starting 2 days but if you know how to fix those little problems you will be having the most fantastic phone in your hands with your friends glaring at it jealously :DnnVERY IMPORTANT - nAfter buying phone PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE first of all do an software update of 150 MB and PixelMaster update of 90 MB (From Playstore).nnFirst of all Thank you Flipkart for super fast and super awesomely packed Phone delivery. To count Pros and Cons -nnPROS -n1) Full HD screen wih the most amazing touch - You will love it.n2) Transitions - The effects added in this phone are purely awesome. I repeat awesome.n3) Freedom to Change anything - You can even change grid size, sliding preferences, themes, icon packs yada yada yada...plus lock apps feature is already installed.n4) Battery - People will say the battery sucks....finish in 4-5 hours which is COMPLETELY WRONG. I will explain later in problems section.n5) Front Camera - Front camera is like pure bliss. To get so awsome pics from 5 MP camera is exceptional.n6)ZenUI - the UI is super awesome...the icons look so cool and eveything looks so clear.n7)EVERYTHING - everything is awesome in this phone :DnnCONS -n1)Back Camera - Back camera when used in 13MP setting captures pics with yellow tint although when clicked with 10MP the pics are really good.( ASUS knows about the problem and they are going to fix it in next update).n2)Bloatware- ASUS comes with lot of useless apps that can't be uninstalled or even disabled...not that they cause any inconvenience but totally grinds my gears.n3) SIM 2 doesn't support 3G - depressing as all other ZenFone allows....but i can live with it because not like anyone buys data on both sim.n4) NO earphones and charging cable is short- as much as it sound as a CON...it isn't as only SAMSUNG is providing earphones with mobile nowadays and no one else...not even HTC. You can always buy a new long cable beside crying -____-nnPROBLEMS I FACED - n1) Battery Callibration- This is a commn problem in ASUS ZenFones. The battery callibration is wrong. your mobile thinks 35% is 1% and switches off at 1% .It got me scared and i was totally gonna replace the phone but then i found out it's a common problem and i fixed it.(Google have all answers :D)nnSOLUTION - http://www.asus.com/zentalk/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=7395&page=1&authorid=88635nn2) Proximity sensor - My phone goes black when i call someone and I can't even cancel the call. I found out it was my fault all along.nSOLUTION - You are using WRONG screen guard which covers proximity sensor so when you call someone it always think its near your ear and keep the screen off. Please buy official ZenFone 2 screen guard or tampered glass.nnPROBLEMS WHICH PEOPLE RAISE WHICH ARE TOTALLY WRONG -n1) Phone get heated up when charged - TOTALLY WRONG....it's always cold....the problem is maybe you are using lot many apps or lying.nn2) Battery is less - ZenFone 2 have 3000 maH......more than 90% phones in market. If your battery is dying fast then maybe close all the apps by clicking on recent apps button and clearing all the shit. PLUS Asus have application manager which solely is made to save battery and power saving app...After using all these 3 things,my phone when charged to 100% goes on for a full day... which is a lot...if you are looking for a phone which should work 2 days you are free to buy NOKIA 1100 if it's still in market :)nn3) 3G is slow - I have AIRTEL sim and 3G works faster on ASUS than it did on HTC and SAMSUNG (previous phones i owned)....seriously Don't worry :)nn4) Sound is LOW - THIS IS THE MOST RIDICULOUS..... The phone have so loud speakers. They are just awesome...the quality of sound is also cool. If you are having problems with earphone there is an installed app - AUDIOWIZARD...kindly use it :)nn5) Phone disconnects and low sound - TOTALLY WRONG..please configure the settings or use ASUS assistance app :) nn6) phone rotates, restarts blah blah yada yada reviews here - TOTALLY WRONG....i was scared too but this phone doesn't have any of those problems...Don't worry trust me....the people who write these don't know how to turn off auto rotation or other things.nnNOTE - These are totally bogus complaints....I never faced any of these.Please Stop spreading useless reviews.nnRECOMMENDATION - nThere are two apps in your phone MyASUS and ASUS support. Please take use of it fully especially CHAT SUPPORT in MyASUS app.( it's fast and they solve ur problems)nnFinally, sorry for making you read this much long review but it was necessary to tell people about everything. I hope I covered everything. Please like this review to make it to the top so everyone can get solutions to the problems and also because it took me 30 mins to write ***exhausted face*** :P

Thanks in Advancen****Updated**** nMy Review based on 3-4 Weeks of using Asus Zenfone 2 ZE551ML 4GB RAM / 1.8Ghz (Rs.18,999/-) nReview on Firmfare: 2.18... nPlease Update only to Firmware 2.15 or 2.19.40.23.... and wait for newer updates, wait read the reviews, becoz over 2.15 has bugs.... n:::RAM:::nI got 2GB RAM free out of 4GB RAM and with usage like fb,messenger,whatsapp,browsing....I get 400-500mb.nIt gets restart if it becomes less then 220mb of RAM, BUT AFTER "CACHE PARTITION CLEAN" it got Fixed. nASUS has said there gona release Lollipop 5.1 soon...we have to wait for their announcement and keep touch on Twitter-> "ASUS India" nand they said RAM leakage will be Solved on 5.1 Lollipop Update n:::MULTITASKING::: nIts fluid and no lagness while multitasking between apps. nI Played Assasin Creed, Asphaly 8, and more 2 Heavy games with FB,WhatsApp, UC Browser...i had no problems with Performance and Multitasking. n(*)Use the Auto Manager app and disable unwanted apps that you don't want.n(*)Disable->Google , Clean Master , Other Google apps , and unwanted apps that you don't want. n:::ZenUI:::nThe UI is very nice and many Customization options......UI will attract you to its side always.nThis is one of my Favourite UIn==>See "Double-Tap WakeUp" Topic... coming below regarding Launcher Question S Launcher n(not sure for everyone, but Depends on users) n******Question*********n"I don't want Double-Tap feature, I can manage Double-Tap on Home Key to wakeup the screen , But I Need Double Tap to Sleep. I ordered this product on 29/05/2015 and got within 2 days.Thanks to WS retail & also flipkart.There is no problem when I open the box.After opening I gave full 8hrs charge as per asus recomendation & register my product with asus.Next day,when I start to use it,the maggic happened-npros:n1.awesome ZenUIn2. Android lollipopn3.60% charging within 30 min.n4.good screen ressolutionn5.4 gb ram(more than enough)n6.32 gb internal mem(approx 26 gb is available,which is also more than enough for a standard user)n7.pixelmaster is unique.n8.sound is good.n9.battery is enough for one day use.nthere are some litte problems as it happens for all electronics accessories- ncons;n1.few useless apps.n2.after 60% charging is done,more time is needed than it for another 40%n3.camera is good,but it can be better.nbut overall iI can say that it is a great deal from asus & u can go for it without hesitation,it is worth of money.

The Asus Zenfone 2 is too good in terms of high end configurations and the best features which is worth value for money.nI would recommend this product as I have received the product today and the phone was so handy with stylish looks and more added stuffs in place.nnThe only thing which I found is the Asus is not giving head set with the Smartphone. I have received only Smartphone + USB Cable with connecter.nnThey should have provide the headset as well for this price.

I hve been using this mobile for the past 2 weeks.So my verdict about this phone is it is a power performer. Really good display. Nice build quality. The fone really ranks above many other smartphones in performance.nPros :n1) Excellent gaming perfomance.n2) Lots of customization in asus ZenUI. This UI is very smooth lag free and good looking.n3) There is lot of customization and many features in camera depatment.n4) There is fast charging supported charger which comes with this mobile, charges in 1 to 1 1/2 hours.n5) There are instant ZenUI updates available for all the apps on playstore even the asus apps also.n6) Call quality is also very nice on this device and there is fortunatetly no call drop issue on this mobile.n7) The mobile looks very premium and unique in its class though it has plastic back cover with a metallic finishing.n8) In order to keep your mobile updated you dont have to wait for software and OTA updates, all apps can be updated on playstore even the asus builtin apps even the camera app.n9) It has 4gb ram which is very rare in mobiles, very good for multitasking,nCons:n1) Inspite of the corning gorilla glass 3 protection, there are 2 or 3 small scratches on my display which is very annoying and dissapointing, not expected.n2) The camera quality is not that great but also not that bad. It is mid ranged.n3) The battery life is kind of a bit dissapointment. The battery drains faster when you are on wifi and gaming. The battery is good when You are ofline and not using any mobile data. This can be solved, thankks to its fast charging support.n4) While charging your phone, the phone tends to heat very high because of fast charging. This is its disadvantage.n5) The shake to take screenshot feature in zenmotion is not working at all. May be they should fix this issue in their next system update.
