So I received the Tablet. Have used it for 2 days now and I will list out the pros and cons of it. I am looking to buy Samsung or Apple tablet but first by buying a cheaper one I need to see whether a Tablet actually suits my lifestyle or can deliver what I require from a handy device. First of all to clarify, indeed this is 1 Gb DDR3 and NOT 512 Mb as some users point out. nnPros: nn-Touchscreen response is superb. Literally feather touch. n-Looks, design and feel is also very goodn-Display is good too. Even in broad day light it stands outn-All accessories mentioned are in the boxn-Specifications mentioned here are correctn-Response to gaming is awesomen-App install and working of apps is superb. At one moment I opened up 8-9 apps and still the speed was excellent. No hanging issues.n-Video quality playback is very very good. n-Wifi connectivity is very smooth. Havent tested the dongle connectivity. n-Browsing and video playback in browsers/app is very good. n-Loaded apps like FB, Gtalk,Twitter, Maps, skype all work very welln-Video recording and picture camera is decent. n-Device boot time is less and loads quicklyn-Havent encountered over heating problemn-Back camera is good. Dont expect HD picture qualityn-HDMI functioning is great. Output is brilliant. Dual display mode is there. LCD or HDMI. n-Very light in weightn-This is even better than Mi 5 or Mi9 tablet which are in pipeline. Just compare and see. Except that this is 7 inch and Mi 9 is 9inch.nnCons:nn-Can improve on battery life. Works for 5 hours only.n-Charging takes some timen-Sound with audio jack is reasonable. Without it, it is ok. Not that great.n-Front camera (VGA) is not that great. n-1 USB port means either you can charge it or can connect to internet with dongle. Both cannot happen together.n-Electronic charger looks fragile. Though working perfectlynnnOverall for 6090 this is an awesome tab to own. You cannot expect Samsung or an Apple kind product. But then Byond does not let you down. Pure value for money if you cannot afford the expensive one's but still want to experience a tablet.

Guy’s let me start with the packaging of this product first, while Flipkart delivered this product to me. The packaging was done in such a way as if a mother is taking care of her 3 month old baby (even I won’t probably take so much care of my new mi-book). In short the packaging was very impressive. Next comes delivery time of this product right? As far as my shopping experience with Flipkart goes I can rate them anywhere between good to excellent (my rating will be “good” only if I get over impulsive to receive my product). Now comes the most important part, means the product review:nMy friend R Agarwal has already taken enough pain to give you guys a brief idea about this product , so I am just adding to his points I want to share just few more characterless of this Tablet.nFirst of all, let me tell you guys a myth about this product. Most people feel that it has only one port which is supposed to be used for both charging the battery as well as for any USB device which is completely wrong. This product has two different ports – one for charging the battery another one can be used for your 3G dongle (no second thought on that, it’s an improved product if you compare this Mi3 with Mi1).nSecondly, there are few people who use to say that the battery of this tablet will last for 5-6 hours but the fact is that this tablet won,t even last for 3 hours if you are accessing internet non-stop.nFinally , many people may not be satisfied with the sound quality of this tablet and may give their negative feedback about this product but if you download any free sound maximizer software then you can fight back to this problem to a certain extent.nConclusion – Overall this tab is fantastic. Judging it by what I pay and what I got in return, I will say that I am pretty satisfied. Adding to this hardly you will find any tablet in Indian market which is having 1 Gb DDR 3 RAM with this price quotation. Guys I will suggest that if you want to buy a tablet without making a large hole in your pocket then just go for it. Hope my review will help all of you. Thank You.

I have been using this tab for more than 15 days now and am overtly impressed by the product given the price point. Its worth every penny it asks for. My experiences:nnPROS:n1. The 1.2 GHz Cortex A8 processor is zippy. Applications/heavy games run without any lag. Have been playing Asphalt 7, NFS MW, Frontline Comando, Temple Run ever since i got this tab, and the games work flawless everytime. Video call apps like Skype work without any lag and doesn't slow down the tab. n2. 1 Gb RAM is the biggest advantage of this tab. Other budget tabs with 1.5 GHz processor but 512 MB RAM wont be any good for running heavy applications. MI 3 is flawless in this department. n3. Touch is really 'feather touch'. I haven't found any lag so far and the kinetic scrolling does its job remarkably.n4. Display is good for the price. Default screens dont look peppy, but HD games and videos when played, brings out the awesomeness. I am pretty happy in this front too.n5. Of the close to 100 apps i tried from Google Play, only one app was found not compatible with this device. A very satisfactory success ratio. n6. ICS 4.0.3 is zippy and offers pleasing experience. The ROM is pretty much the ICS stock ROM with some modifications.n7. WiFi is zippy and offers nothing to complain. I could receive 186 KBps download speed on my device using my WiFi.n8. Comes pre installed with lots of apps which can keep you hooked off the play store for a couple of days.n9. Front camera offers video calling and gets immediately recognized by apps like 'Skype'. n10. HQ HD videos works without any problem what so ever. All my blue ray movies collection played like charm on this tab.n11. Mini USB port can be used to read pendrives. My tab read my 8 GB Kingston pen drive instantly and worked without a problem. It though couldnt detect my 1TB external hard disk, as was the case with another reviewer.n12. Comes along with a good looking lather case. I love it.n13. I love reading books and its amazing to read ebooks in this tab. Very good for reading books.nnNEUTRAL:n1. Sound quality from speaker is average. Loudness is good and satisfactory. Plugging in headphones/audio speaker systems enhances the experience.n2. 2 MP rear camera is just decent. Works well in well lit conditions. Can forget it otherwise.n3. Front VGA camera is below average. Video calling experience may not be good. Depends on user specific requirements.n4. Preloaded 3D videos lacks charm. Couldn't differentiate anything while looking at 3D videos with the 3D goggles on. The 3D pics that came pre loaded impressed me though. I am not much of a fan of 3D so doesn't matter for me. n5. In the box headphones are average.nnCONS:n1. Battery life is very average. n Watching HD movies : 3.5 hrs.n HD games : 2 hrs.n WiFi : less than 1 hr. (very poor)n Playing music : over 6 hrs.n Using USB port for (3G/2G dongle, USB drive): less than 1 hr.n Idle device backup : 2 daysn2. Device is not rooted. Some of the pre loaded apps are not much needed and there's no way one could remove them. A rooted device would have made this much better.n3. ICS ROM used does not have 'face locking' feature. Would love to have this.n4. No ambient light sensor. The screen brightness has to be manually adjusted. n5. Tacky 'power' and 'volume' rockers. I believe they'll be the first ones to go wrong in this device.n6. No bluetooth. I really miss this one.n7. Battery takes time to get a full charge. Almost 2 - 2.5 hrs.nnMy device also seems to have calibration problem. The % battery indicator fluctuates instead of going steady down (while on battery) or going up (while charging). One time i see the battery is 12% (while charging), next time I see its 4% (while charging). I dont know why !nnApart from the battery issues, my experience with this tab has been satisfying and worth every penny I spent. nnApps I am using (user installed) : Air Control, Air Droid, App2Sd Pro, Asphalt 7, Dolphin Browser HD, Google Drive, Eco Battery Protector, ET app, F 18 Carrier Landing, Frontline Comando, Flyte ebooks, Juice Defender Ultimate, Moon Reader Pro, MX Player, My Playlist Maker, Play Music, SD Maid, Sky Drive, Tubemate. nnHope the review helps potential buyers.nnAbhishek

first of all i wud like to give a salute to the flipkart product delivering service.....the day i ordered the byond mi3 ....the next day it reached at my place......unimaginable service keeping in mind the thousands of orders placed by the customers........nnnabout tablet:ndisplay is very gudd....pinch to zoom is ok........bit laggy while browsing........games like temple run ,angry birds,asphalt,turbo fly 3d run smoothly... havent tried the other games........front cam is nt that gud .....u hav to do a video chat in very gudd light presence...........sme content sites like yahoo a bit laggy bt thats ok wen u r getting the features of 10000 in 6000 rs..........back camera is gudd the 2.0MP one.........i connected a 32 gb pen drive........it restarted 2 times dont know why.......bt the third time it detected it and pendrive was full of 720p and 1080p videos which is played smoothly with sharp quality without any lag........i noticed one thing that wen i connect external devices like microsd card or pen drive to usb ......it doesnt detects them the first tymmm.......dont know why ....bt wen it get detected it reads everything smoothly.........ni am only facing one problem right now....if anybody can help me with this?...wen i connect evdo dongle like mts mblaze ,i wait for 2 minutes so that dongle gets loaded.....even then it shows at the botom "no internet connection".......but wen i open the browser am able to access the websites through that connected dongle....dont know how.....bt am nt able to access skype ,play store,etc......wen i try to access play store and touch on sign into account.....it automatically switches on wifi which i dont hav...and doesnt proceeds furthereven if i switch off wifi....but at the same time am able to access websites.............wen i called customer care they said dongle is not supported ......they adviced to use supported dongle .....but then i asked how am i able to access websites .....they had no answer to that.......bt i will check wid another dongle.........may b a dongle problem..battery backup is nt that gudd....it drains out speedily.....hardly 3 hours i can use wen browsing sites...otherwise device is superb at this cost........people out there wid a budget of less than 10000 ....pls go and buy it.........to stop all the rumours spreading that it dont have 1 gb ram.....it has one gb ram .......no blue tooth and i dont need bluetooth as well......gps navigation through google maps....and yes text luks clear......

My coligue has bought this based on my recommendation on the use of Byond mi1. Definitely Byond mi3 is better product. I had a hands on it and based on that here is my review. Mi1 is having heating problem but mi3 seems impressive.nnPros : Display is nice and clear, Two cameras (Primary and secondary), touch response, game sensors, HD videos run smoothly, 3D movies.nnCons : Battery back up. Byond should take this seriously then they can capture good percentage in tablet market.
