i bought this tab on 27 december and got it on next day nnbeen using this since that day.nhere is what i have to say about this productnn>RAM -user available Ram is around 316 mbnof which around 150 mb is freeni found it quite sufficient nn>internal memory 1gb for appsnand rest can be used to store files and data(5.43)nn>sim calling feature is goodnthere were no problems while making and receiving callsnn>gprs works like it use to work on all the devices, slow and steady but gets the job donen:pnn>battery back up ni tested the tab 3 timesnmy usage was n60 minutes of chatting including smsn10 minutes of calling n100 minutes of browsing (on wifi and 3g dongle )n1 movie around 90 minutesnit lasted for 4 hours + every time with some juice left (12 to 18%)n n>Display n display is decent viewing angles are ok watching movie is fun on this tab nn>about speed nlike every android product this also showed some lags nbut considering price point that is fine nn>browsing nweb browsing is okn load websites quite fast on wifi, little slow on 3g dongle I(idea )nit has flash support nn>gaming ni tried only temple run worked fine no lags at all :)nn>in the end i have no complaints regarding the tabnnn>comparisonnits better than micromax funbook talk coz it has more internal memory, rest both are same nnnnthis review is based on my personal experience, i am certified buyer of this product so you can trust my views nnthanx and regards

I just received this tab two days back from Flipkart.com and as usual I am very happy with flipkart service. The product arrived three days before the estimated date. nnComing to the tablet. BYOND MI5+ is cheapest tablet with phone function in its segment. At the price they are offering, this tab is presumably the best tab around. If you are the one who is more keen on using this as a tablet and phone (not keen on using camera often), then this tablet is for you. nnPROS-n1. This tab looks really nice (unlike the picture) and doesn't look cheap at all. n2. 1.2 Ghz Processor and 1 Gb Ram really makes ICS run smooth with no lag at all. Its very responsive to touch. n3. Live Wallpaper doesn't make apps laggy at all on this tablet.n4. Byond has designed this tab mostly for business users as this tab comes pre-installed with Document to go, Adobe Reader and loads of other useful apps which usually business people use. n5. Phone works great, even when using with blue-tooth headset. The incoming voice is crisp and clear.n6. Games run smoothly. I had no time to test heavier games on this tab, but I tried angry birds, fruit ninja and speed night 2 and they run very smoothly.n7. Battery life with 3000mAh is decent (goes for more than a day) for normal tablet and phone functions (no WiFi). Although you can make it better by lowering the brightness and other useful battery saving tips which you can google.n8. This tab has HDMI port and mini usb port which comes really handy during office work. n9. This tab comes bundled with USB to mini USB converter cable, data cable, charger and screen gaurd. I have seen many tabs which comes missing with one of the above listed items which byond guys have taken a note of.n10. I havent tried 3g dongle but according to the byond executive, you can use the following 3G dongles with it - Airtel Huawei EC1731, Idea Huawei EC1732, BSNL MF 190. I did call byond customer care just to check how responsive they are. When I called their customer support no. I was told by recorded voice that my no. has been registered and will soon get call from their representative. After couple of hours I got call from their representative and he was showing very helping attitude which was nice (hope this continues forever). nnCONS-n1. Battery drains fast when using WiFi. Otherwise decent battery life. When fully charged with normal use and without use of WiFi can go for a day or even more. n2. Camera - No rear camera and the front camera is pathetic. This tab is not recommended for those who like clicking photos often while on the move.n3. Speakers - no front speakers, Rear one is okay (although not very impressive).nnYou can not use the Internet with the help of 3G sim card on this tablet.nnOver and above this tab is worth its price. Recommended for those who are looking at cheaper options i.e. for phone + tab.

I recently purchased Byond Mi-3 which is working well beyond doubt with the ram speed of 1 Ghz. Now I also desire to purchase one with calling facility. However, I find this Mi-5 has speed of 512 MB Ram. If this tablet has 1Ghz Ram, it will be more attractive and get popular in the market. I hope so byond will make sure of it with freebies of Leather cover as at present this is without freebies of leather case. Expect soon the same from Flipkart.

I feel so unlucky to end up with this product. This is the third time I got something which does not meet the basic requirement of what is promised... I do find few features good but most of them are failure.nnGood:n1. 1GB RAM - Really appreciate the speed and performance of this tablet for 7K.n2. Battery Backup - I find this tab lasts long when compared to other that I used before.n3. Look and Feel - Great design!! gives a rich look.n4. Less expensive: One of the reason I wanted to try this. Just 7K for a Tablet...nI can't think anything else apart from this....nnBad:n1. Volume: One of the biggest diaster!!! Byond Mi-book Mi5 supports 2Calling, but with the volume output, I could hardly hear the person in other end. The heaphones are good however I don't prefer putting it all the time.nn2. Touch: Touchpad is not that great. When I received the product had hard time to unlock the screen. Then, the first thing I did is to change the screen lock feature to numlock. Pattern lock was not working either. Scrolling is another nightmare...nn3. Display: Don't expect a goog quality display as mentioned in manual. Setting the dispaly to FULL brightness, is just OK. A slight variation in the angle of sight will leave a negative image quality. Watching videos, I bet you won't enjoy... GREAT DISAPPOINT!!!!nn4. Application support: It was shocking, when I tried to install AntiVirus software. Many are not compatible with this device. Though I have got one installed now, I would have been more satisfied if this allowed me to install the same app that I use in other Android devices.nn5. THIS IS FOR FLIPKART not for the Byond product - I actually ordered a different product which I found faulty. They replaced it with another faulty (worse than the first one). I decided to go for a different product then. I ended up with Byond which totally crashed my enthusiasm on tablets. I feel so unlucky to have all this trouble and loosing 7K on worthless....
