Samsung fans (i myself got the galaxy 3 and galaxy tab2 but have faced stupid customer service at their service center) can buy anything blindfold...else in a sane world grand with a stupid display of 800*480 would never sell at that price...i have been using andro for just less than about 3 yrs now.nin sub 15k you get these very important features in this phone :n1. HD IPS Screen with 1280 X 720 pixel resolution with a pixel density of 257.65 (grand has just 187)n2. 1 Gb ram as android pretty much consumes most of a 512 RAM mobiles, so anything below 1Gb is a crime for any android phone.n3. 2500 Mah battery may not be the best in the industry for the screen size, but i will take it anyday esp the price i am paying for this, because Byond has been very impressive in shipping a powerbank of 2200 Mah with the phone.n4. 5.7 is slightly on the bigger size, but wait till you watch an HD Video on this and you will instantly fall for it.n5. Jelly Bean..Last 4 months that i have been using JB on my galaxy...its simply awesome.n6. Dual Sim ...Its become more of a standard feature now.n7. 1 Ghz Dual Core...how I would have wanted a Quad core...but it would be asking too much at that price and config :)nnIt ticks most criteria for me..and unless I got 35k to spend on note2 or 25k plus on other good phones....this pretty much satisfies me on most criterion....(if you thought about Canvas HD from Micromax, then let me tell you, its a great config...but others have reported that it hangs a lot, though the benchmark scores are great for it and it is quite snappy....but i personally dont play any game which a dual core wont b able to play and i needed a bigger than 5 screen..u can decide for yourself)...remember, dont go by anyone else's choice...a mobile is an individual choice and if a certain phone calls out to ur heart, than let it be the one you buy and consider it the best for you :)nnCONS : Very Bad customer Service by Byond Tech, I have been trying to contact them for since March 1st week both to their local service center and the company Head office and customer care through email and phone. But they never have a solution and my query to them was just two : a BLACK color flip cover as white got dirty very soon. and a matte scratch guard as the one which comes with this is very bad and has got a lot of marks already. When we go for a brand which is not samsung or related, we atleast expect them to be honest with their attempt to please customers as word of mouth is the best form of advertisement, but given the customer service I have experienced, I would think again !!!

i have been searching for a good phone like note and i came across this one. it has same resolution as NOTE2 (1280*720) and size of screen is even bigger and it looks good with 5.7 HD screen. with dual core processor and jelly bean and 1 GB RAM it looks like a good buy. just the weight seems to be slightly higher may be cause of the size. any other 5.7 HD phones in India ?

Hi I am Kaushik, I Bought My Byond Phablet II 2 weeks back, I researched a lot to take a good Touch Screen Phone with a Big Screen, Thank god I found this one, When I ordered this my friends said this is not a brand, but I am very much impressed with its features more over I believe in the Product Quality rather than a Brand, Coming to the Pros and Cons, Pros: - The 8mp Rear Camera with Auto Focus is Awesome and Front Cam 3mp also takes good Photos and good enough for Video Calling, - The Screen of 5.7 inches with Stunning resolution of 1280 X 720 Pixels is good enough to blow your head, it can also play 1080pixel Videos, Performance is also good, - Hanging!!!! What does that mean, don’t worry it won’t hang as it is powered with a 1 GB Ram, - Internal memory is 4GB (2GB user available & 2 GB for Andriod Jelly Bean), Expandable up to 32 GB, - Internet on Wi-Fi is very fast rather I would say Lightning Fast, - Coming to Battery Backup as usual Andriod Phones do not have much Battery backup (Because on the Back ground it runs many applications Simultaneously), but this one last for more than 1 day as it has an offer with Power bank, Flip Cover and Screen guard which costs around Rs:14999/- in some sites. Cons: - Byond is still Building its Brand - Only Few Service Centers in Hyderabad Finally I would Say “Byond is Beyond my Expectations”, Always go with your Heart and don’t go with the opinions of your friends as it’s finally you who is going to use your cell.

Excellent Android Phone cum Tablet ( Phablet II) !!! Earlier I was using Micromax A90 however the same got display blank while talking and I could still receive phone calls by blindly swiping the blank display phone. When I gave this phone at Service Centre - Salora at Dadar on 09th March 2013. Till today, they are not responding for WARRANTY REPLACMENT. Their service centre got shifted but no update to me about this change nor any phone numbers available to call them up. When dialled their HQ, either the phone is always engaged or donot answer when its ringing...Very poor services from Micromax. Until now, I have bought many phones - low end such as X263 and A52 and recently A90...But due to no response from them, I had to buy another Phone from Phablet PII to keep my connectivity ON .... Now waiting for reply from Micromax ... there is no answer ! When I broguht Byond, I have experienced excellent call back within 24 hrs. from them as they have a toll free answering machine which records the caller phone number. Atleast they are concerend to call back and resolve your matters to satisfaction .... Good service support....Need to experience to comment further on their services too...

So, after the hype created by Micromax A116 HD, I tried my best to find it in stores or online stores. But I believe they are just popularizing their phones rather than selling it.nnThen I came across Byond P2 in a local retail shop in Bangalore. If I compare it with other similar dual core phones selling at 9k to 14k range, it has its own advantages - HD resolution, 5.7' screen, 2500 mAH battery, free flip cover and power bank. The flip cover (400-600) and power bank (1800-2200) itself costs around Rs. 2200-2500, which is bundled along with the phone. It has a premium look attached to it. The bundled earphone is good, the touch is buttery smooth, 1GB RAM is sufficient to run most of the applications smoothly including Temple Run, GTA, Asphalt etc. Its a good phone at this price range and I am satisfied by it's performance. The only downside is the absence of custom ROMs or rooting method. But, I am using Zopo zp950 rom, which has same specifications. Go for it..nn@Moiz K - Don't bluff people out here. You seem to me a paid reviewer of UMI, as you have posted the same review not just here, but also for Xolo A1000.
