I used it and it just awesome. Hii All...nni got this phone for 14.5k from one of the online stores. before buying this i researched the market for almost 4 months. in that research i found many chineese players like jiayu,oppo and others.. I found the Gionee Dream D1 also along with many others. i had gone through the specifications and they are great but specs on paper cant guarantee u a good mobile.ni have not paid much attention to this model. but one day i went to one retail mobile outlet and found one very beautiful eye catching mobile. I intially thought it may be a SONY mobile but when i checked the brand its Gionee and the model is Dream D1, i was litterally shocked by the looks and the mobile was very lite(my old mobile was galaxy ace duos which is very heavy). i fell in love with the mobile. it looked like a mirror finished Granite Slab With Full glass at the front.nI came home and searched for the best price and immediatley ordred. I was least bothered about the performance....nbut once I got the mobile in my hand in the month april 2013.i started checking the performance it performed exceptionally well in all aspects.... i love my mobile.nthere are absolutely no problems with the mobile.nnplease dont think some Gionee promoter is writing the review..nnlikes:n1. 4.7 inch Super amoled display with 320 ppi is absolutely stunning. Watching HD movies is a feast to eyesn2) on screen navigation buttons will automatically hide when u watch videos. and u can enjoy movies in full 4.7 inch HD display.(very very nice thing)n3)with corning gorilla glass protection the build quality is awesome....I mean it.n4)with 2100mah battery is very good what ever u do, it lasts for one full day...n5) with 1.2GHz and 1GB RAM it performs with lightening fast what ever application u run and what ever the game u play..i played DEAD TRIGGER and BLOOD AND GLORYnboth worked exceptionally welln6.) 8 MP main camera is exceptionally good but u have to take care the bluish film on the camera lense. if u take care that u dont need a digital camera anymore...nthe snaps are crisp and colors are vivid.. and more over the camera is really fast it takes snaps really fast. burst mode is superb..... just hold the shutter button then camera takes shots continuously with super fast.nnabsolutely no CONS for this mobile.nnu may think the service of the mobile is problem as it is a china based company....nbut u can find gionee service centers almost in every part of the country...nu can find the list of service centers available in india in internet for better clarification..nnI took this much pain in writing such a big review because i just want to appriciate the good work done by Gionee.. after all this much i can done...

I have gone through nearly thousand reviews before deciding to buy gionee dream d1. It's the only best device from gionee, than the elife series.nnRooting is very easy. Contact me at : spisteel@gmail.com for rooting. I am editing this review after using the phone for nearly 2 years. Still no regret. I am happy. Only thing: no flip case available.nnJust change the default launcher and install nova launcher or windows 8 launcher. And there you go. You get total 20 Gb memory free with this device. n1.7 GB of internal storage will be left for you. And the micro sim which come with the phone is of 16 gb, from which you get 14.7 gb exactly for use. nBoth the cameras are good. Superb in daylight and blind in low light. :) nnThe mobile is very hardy. Looks so manly. You feel like you have got a mobile when you hold it. You get two mobile back covers (coffee and crimson colour). nThe headphone comes with the mobile is nearly useless for playing mp3. It's ok, if you don't want much bass. But, very stylish and useful when in call. nWi-Fi is great. nBattery is too good, but attachable. You can not remove the battery. Good in one way, that you never loss your time/calender related data. nMobile screen is too bright and vibrant. It's one of best screen I have ever seen. nTouch sensitivity is very good. nCouple of issue I have found with the software. You may not face the same. Factory reset is a good thing, which will take all your pain with any software issue. nSpeed, gaming, processing are all pretty good. I am not mentioning any benchmark tool data here. nUSB transfer is also fast enough. nDTS sound is good enough than any other phone in the market. I would not say very good. nIf you are thinking to buy any micromax/carbonn/lava/lenovo mobile, leave the plan and get this one for sure. Don't go for the gionee elife series, all of those have many drwbacks nthan this one. nnCharging time is fast enough. nThe mobile is always cool, unless and until you keep it busy with some heavy graphics games for hours. nThe screen is totally scratch protective with Gorilla glass 2. nPlays any HD video without getting stuck. nOne sim is 3g and the other one is 2g. And max 32 gb micro sd card you can attach with it, nService center is good. nearly one or two in every big city in India. nIt has all kind of sensors you can imagine. nThe compass or ecompass sensor is cool. I like it. nYou can use mostly any headphone with this phone. Ok, Now calling is good, speaker phone is loud enough. Automatic tower time update from the mobile service provider really works fine. nThe flash light is very bright. Use it with flash light call notifier application, will be more useful. nWell, finally this is the mobile depending on which gionee has entered India, so has to be something exceptional than the rest. Yes, it's exceptional. You just get it, you will not regret for next 2 to 3 years at least for sure. nnThanks,nBiswadip.

When you have already used Samsung note 2 or other phones like that you just cant go with any other phones, but this is something you will never regret. The biggest pros of this phone is its Gorilla glass HD screen and Quad core. This is fastest phone i have ever used. Just compare it with Samsung Note 2 or any other, this is the best.nnScreen 5/5nSpeed 5/5nHD stuff 5/5
