I got this phone off the market a few weeks back, since flipkart wasnt stocking it yet. anyone having doubts whether to take this or not, i would recommend it always. its a very sturdy handset, battery backup is excellent and the overall experience 10 times better than karbon or micromax of the same range. camera is better than others at this range but then again, you dont need that as most of you will buy this as a secondary phone. Facebook and Twitter apps are already present, so is yahoo cricket and surprisingly, Opera. this little thing actually packs quite a punch...nnPros-n1. built like a tank, reminds me of nokia. i also have a lumia so i can see the similaritiesn2. the experience is totally lag free, fluid OS.n3. LED torch is really powerful.n4. Battery backup is excellentn5. screen clarity! you need to see it to believe it!n6. micro usb connector, phone can be used as a webcam.n7. call quality, clarity... Excellent!nnCons-n1. service availability might be an issue since it is a new company. but judging by their reputation in china, shouldn't be an issue.n2. keypad feels slight cramped considering the screen.n3. no whatsapp. i know i am being demanding, but when you get so much, you do get carried away.nnin the end guys, i would say go for it, it is a good investment...

bought this mobile tempting to specs but regretting now cause the user interface is NOT AT ALL user friendly. no contact search key at upper right part instead we have to search at screen looking at ugly meaningless icons which doesnt give any idea for what they used. Menu is meaninglessly made more complicated applications can be included in icon but they havn't. End key and call key pressing is pain to fingers. FM and audio quality is poor, chord provided in also poor.nBUT only positive is its battery backup is EXCELLENT gives me standby time of 20 days.nnIN MY OPINION PLEASE DONT BUY THIS MOBILE if you are looking for good user interface.

Screen got damaged after 15 days. Filpkart peoples says "this product has a 10 days replacement plan" & they are sorry and so am I being a Gionee holder.
