Wonderful device

Holy crap i bought this tablet for freaking 20,000 rupees an year ago. How can they slash the rates so much. nAnyways its a great device. quite handy... here are some pros and cons.nnProsn1. Updates: nexus devices are the first to get the updates from google, in any other brand one will have to wait for 1 or 2 months to get the updates.n2. Stock Androidn3. works with zero lagn4. looks: tablet looks amazing with a nexus logo an back. n5. highly responsive touch n6. can survive rough use: I have been playing all kinds of high end games everyday on the device, still the device works fabulous as it was bought yesterday. nnConsn1. wifi only: In this device you can only use internet using wifi so in india basically its a device which can be used in home, colleges or offices. You cannot use internet on nexus7 while travelling.n2. Battery: Battery backup is fair 5-6 hours on moderate brightness and 2-3 hours while playing high end gamesn3. takes way too long to bootn4. weak wifi antenna: On a same wifi network my samsung note 2 shows full network whereas in nexus 7 it will show only 50%n5. speaker and camera: speaker is not up to the mark, and there should have been a rear camera to take pictures

Shipped this tab as a gift, turned out to be a Defected piece.

The delivery system by flipkart is great as usual but as the other reviews says, the tablet comes out to be a defective piece for most of the buyers, just received the tablet an hour ago nnHere is what we foundn1)Not able to boot (start) the tablet.n2)Display is fluctuating with white screen.n3)No charging is indicated.nnAlso no ear phones came with the box, but i guess that's not included in the packaging, i have requested a return, hope flipkart takes this case seriously and respond to it as fast as possible because it feels really embarrassing to gift someone a defective piece. Next review regarding flipkart's return delivery coming soon...nnUpdate: Got a replacement request for the tablet which is promised to be shipped within 3 days.

Got Solution to DEAD Battery in Nexus 7 Tab

Ordered Tab from flipkart.com on 4th Dec, received on 6th Dec.nnI noticed most of the customers facing the issue of dead battery in Tab on arrival.nnI too faced the problem of dead battery on arrival, I tried to turn on but the Tab doesn't turn ON. The screen just flicks dots when trying to turn ON while kept on charging and doesn't take a charge yet all.nnI found out the solution to this problem.nnI just removed the back panel/cover of the Tab (it can just be removed through finger nail), removed the battery out and reinserted battery (so that the battery fix exactly into the power slot) then placed back the back panel and turn ON Tab..nnYuppy!! The Tab turned ON Successfully. Now the Tab is working fine without any issue.nnso guys try it at your own risk, it worked out for me.nnRated 1 star so as to share the solution for the people who are facing similar problem.
