I purchased this phone on 19-July-2014 for Rs16300/- from a local dealer at that time price of this phone was Rs18599/- at flipkart. nnAnyhow, coming back to the phone:nnPros:nOcta Core ProcessornElegant LooksnAmazing Camera Quality even front camera is awesome.nA very good displaynGood Battery BackupnnCons:n1 GB RAM ( Though I didn't faced any issues with 1 GB RAM but if they would have provided 2 GB RAM that would have been much better)nBit Glossy ( If you want to buy phone in white color then it would not be an issue)nSpeakers ( Low sound as compared to other Chinese phones)nAndroid 4.2.2 ( HTC should have provided Kitkat )nnVerdict:nnThis is a must buy phone much better than moto-g. If you're looking for a good quality phone with killer looks & with a good brand name then go for HTC DESIRE 616.nnAnd for all those people out there who starts comparing good brands like HTC with mircomax, lava & gionee please stop doing it.

I have purchased HTC desire 616 a month ago and touch screen not working, gave for repair at service centre after 10 days they are not given any responses, always telling me to find repair status at website, website showing hmmm can't track your handset, at service centre 0% response

I recently bought HTC 616 Dual SIM phone from Noida at 16000/- incl.flip cover.I have following observation based on my experience.nnPros:nHTC Brand ( if it matters to you)nScreen Resolution excellentnUser Interface is good. Blinkfeed could be good feature for few users.nnCons:nBattery drains quickly.Need to recharge after 8 hours of normal use.(:n8MP primary camera is OK in daylight condition.In low light pics quality are very poor.(:n2MP Secondly camera is useless. Selfie quality is really bad.(:nCan't see screen in Sunlight when u r outdoor.Highly disappointed on this part.(nMicrophone & speaker sound very low.Even Earphone sound is not as per expectation.(:nNo PC Suite available for this model.nPhone hangs while playing regular games like Subway surfers(:n1GB RAM is not sufficient. Octa is not going to help anyway.(:nInbuilt memory should be 8 GB instead of 4 GB.nPhone Built quality average.Does not give premium feeling.nnSo overall, i would not recommend this phone at 16000 price point.Price for this phone should not be more than 10000.nnRest decision is yours.
