Trailer of android

Flipkart did a great job in delivering the product within 2 daysn. Coming to the device, its an entry level smartphone,so we cant expect great guns from it. But karbonn managed to develop a phone keeping in mind the middle class masses to experience the power of Android.nnAdvantages:n1.Cost.Its a good product to buy if your budget is too tight.n2.Good build quality. Wont feel cheap.n3.Good connectivity(wifi and 3G available).n4.Android market(Biggest plus)nnDisadvantages:n1.Its a resistive touchscreen( not capacitive, wrongly mentioned in the product details), so its quite annoying at times.n2.The display resolution is the biggest letdown.n3.No pinch to zoom(distinct feature of android).n3.Camera is average in sunlight and forget it in dim environment.n3.Audio quality is compromised. It produces jazzing sound in high volume.n4.Battery backup is average. It drains quickly if you play angry birds and use Wi-Fi.nnIt's a phone with a limited power of Android. So you may be disappointed that you may not experience the complete(atleast half) capabilities of android.

I Like it....

I am using this phone for more than 25 days now.nEverything this phone offers works well in my handset. Internet works absolutely fine, also gmail, gtalk, market and other facilities like 3g and wifi. music is ok , loudspeaker is good.nFor pure andriod experience it has less internal memory. But for beginers of andriod it is ok.nbattery is good only if u use a good task killer. It is giving me almost 24 hrs of backup when I am on phone for aroung 2 hrs , music for 1 and half hr and internet for an hour.nResistive touchscreen is the only problem in this phone, but it will only matter to you if U have used capacitive touchscreen.ntry it if you are new andriod and touchscreen user.

Low Ram & Internal Memory

The mobile is very cost efficient except for some problems that i have faced on it like Auto restart problem, GPS never shows exact Location,Screen gets stuck for quite some time. Also information provided about it on many forums about internal memory & RAM is wrong. Its Internal memory is only 210 MB. Its RAM is only 162 MB.

Pros

Good Dispaly, Supports PDF, word files, gmail

Cons

210 MB internal memory, 162 Mb RAM, Auto restart problem

Not Worth the Price, Get Samsung Galaxy Y Instead

I got this new phone for dirt cheap.nIt is similar to the Micromax A60. Not much difference.nnThe phone looks like cheap plastic like the China made phones. But that's fine.nnTHE GOODnScreen size 2.8 inch is fine.nAdobe flash player works.nGoogle Play(Android Market) works.nApplication performance is good. Apps built for 2.2 Froyo work fluentlynnTHE BADn1. Resistive Touch. Need to bang on the screen. Also swype is not available.n2. No pinch to Zoomn3. Wifi is only 802.11 b/g. Wireless-N is absent(not a concern)n4. Battery drains quickly in 15-18 hours even in average usage(Idle, 30 min phone call)n5. Speaker sounds like piece of Tincan. THE BIGGEST LETDOWN. If you set the ringtone to any MP3 songs, it will make people's head turn, But for the wrong reason. Really bad for your reputation if you don't want to be seen carrying a piece of plastic oozing crapy noise.nIf you need to play any music on speaker download Mixzing player or Winamp and set the equalizer. Else you will not be able to bear the music. But this still doesn't help you for the Ringtones.n6. Sometimes switches off by itself. Why? God knows.n7. No Android 2.3gingerbread version. Also Very Very difficult to get working Custom ROMs(Cyanogen Mod 7 & MIUI) for this.n8. NO FM RADIO - Seriously how can they forget this?nnI would highly recommend Samsung Galaxy Y, it is just 1000/- more but has larger screen, good speakers, powerful ARM processor(832MHZ), Capacitive Touch and Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread. If you don't like stock Samsung ROM's you can check out the long list of custom ROM's available for Galaxy Y.nnGiving it a 3/5 as it gets the work done and Android as such works flawlessly.

3G without a Secondary Camera

this phone doesnt has a secondary camera, which means its useless-no video calls possible.Karbon is pumping money in ads promoting it, just wish it would have done a fraction of the cash in fitting a VGA camera in the front.
