Karbonn K53 is a good phone with basic features. Call reception is nice, sound is good and I loved the user friendly interface. And most important feature is WHATSAPP! I hardly believed my eyes when the in built Whatsapp app worked! I got it for 990/- here in flipkart. nGo for it if you want it to use as a basic phone for call and messaging, music, radio and torch. Happy with my phone! :)

many issues are theren1)signal reception is terrible you just cant make call with it, its just a toy other person cant hear your voice any dayn2)when we make a call hear it on earpiece and transfer it to loudspeaker the output is same ie: the earpiece and loud speaker is all samenits not a LOUD SPEAKER its a QUIET SPEAKERn3)lags like crazzy hell you cant type a message, it respond after one secondn4)dialler is cripled you cant search any contact straightn5)UI is laggy, sluglish, absolute non happeningnni have no words to describe just know that you will hate it nndon't waste your moneynyou can get better option in same price nzero star

Purchased this with my own pocket money and its a nice phn....nEverything is good..... Only WHATSAPP needs Rs5 to open and Rs10 per message.....

The phone heats up while charging to dangerous levels. You hear disturbance in the calls (presumably a current). The phone has a chinese look and is very delicate to use. The charging jack is faulty and is not on the right place.nnFlipkart has done a great job while delivering the product but has failed to perform up to the mark while it's return.
