I bought this phone for 15700/- on 8th Jan. and using it since then. Major let downs experianced so far are Camera 13 mega pixel - ha ha ha ha even 4 - 5 mega pixel on other phone are giving far better picture quality - i think it is hardly 2 mega pixel rear camera. Battery - 2000 mah - does not last for long. drains very fast i tried by switching so many functions off but of no use. Plus points This phone has very good processor so it never hangs up and is too good for multifunctionality. Accesories - Like flipcover not available in the market. Hi, I have been using this mobile for last 1 month, I was looking for cheaper Full HD screen, had short listed phones like, spice pinnacle FHD, Nuclea N1, Wammy Passion Z and Canvas turbo and Karbonn s7, Considering pricing I removed turbo so among the remaining Karbonn was the good known brand compared to others so I brought this,n Following are my observations:nProse:nnDispaly:n I was concerned about FHD display and eager to see how it feels on S7, First impression was good, resolution is great for this price, as well as because of Turbo processor this mobile easily renders Full HD videos which some of the intel dual core, core to duo laptops fail to do, But if you compare this display with Samsung's any super amoled display you will feel the difference, S7 display is more like real, you will see things as they are in there own color but Samsung does something great in their display technologies you get more vibrant and more viewable and enjoyable picture quality there on samsung, you can not see pitch black colour on S7 screen, there always will be some light which makes contrast less, picture quality resolutionwise is great but you will get RAW image feeling while watching it,n nProcessor: oustanding, Turbo chipset is fast enough to do all daily tasks + some gamingn1 GB ram is never a problemnnLook: stylish look, screen to body ratio is high so though its 5 inch phone it feels smaller,ngrip is good and OGS looks great, back panel could have been more glossy.nnCons:nI came to know why Indian brands can afford to sell these high configuration phones at lower price, its all about sensors.nnI dont know whether this is case with me but someone has already mentioned this problem previously in reviews,nnWifi suddenly gets stopped, you can not reconnect untill you restart phone,nwifi and data connection cant be running at the same time. nnGPS is useless, very cheap quality GPS, very rarely is shows right location,nnProximity sensor's sensing speed is too slow, its annoying when you want to cut the call immediately and you need to wait for as long as 3-4 seconds,n nInbuilt Speakers are not louder but headphones are very GoodnnCamera quality is poor, 13 MP might be image resolution but sensors are bad again, you get silent, monotonic images and the kind of sensation you want you dont get for this price, you should go to nokia for it, use as much photo editing apps as you can, you can not generate good image without good sensors.nnOverall,nFor this price, this is stylish looking, FHD, phone with latest Android OS and processor with more than enough power, but when it comes to Ultimate substance, it does not make its presence to be counted in your daily life because of its poor sensors, so in problem situations instead of saying Hurray I have it with me, you will find yourself asking "Why am I having it with me?" :)

I have been using this phone for over a month now. Brilliant phone. Two very annoying things that are making me think if I made the right purchase.nThe gps never locks the position and the epo file never downloads. Big bummer.nCamera stops focusing after a few days of use. Only takes blurry photos. Tap to focus or autofocus doesn't work. Did factory reset, worked for a couple of days then back to blurry photos :-(

I bought the Karbonn S7 few days ago. I found that when i'm playing game on my mobile just about 5 minutes only, it will get over heated at the sim slot area. It will occur during other operations i.e. browsing internet or playing video. I went to customer care but they said its a normal problem.
