THE FIRST IMPRESSION...based on a 1 day use

hello!!! i have bought this device after a HUGE amount of research...(wasnt quite getting what i wanted) but then i saw this and saw a review saying the camera is awesome and went for it ...and yes the camera stands out for the price....i had gionee m2 in my mind but suddenly spotted this beauty and clicked tht button...PROS----- 1)screen--HD resolution 267 ppi(decent)..2)built is awesome and gives a premium feel 3)configuration....although the 4 gb internal might be a deal breaker for some...it is livable for me...4)touch is decent if not great...5)camera is AWESOME!!!! 6)Headphone are good but read the cons .....7)not tht heavy ,...easy to handle...CONS---1)loudspeaker is not tht great...dissapointing...2)the music from the device is shit....might be coz of a stock android music play back system...need to find a better alternative....i used ma old nokia 5230 to check the bundled headphones...and they gave a good quality sound with thump....the only feeling missing in this device is the thump...u wont appreciate bass without it........BUT PPL THIS KINDA PHONE AT THIS PRICE RANGE IS A STEAL I MUST SAY.....GO FOR IT IF IT HAS WHAT U REALLY WANT....WILL UPDATE LATER...hope it works fine cuz i feel a bit uneasy with the brand....lastly thank u flippie for the outstanding service!!!!

Phone Review and Feedback

I recently got the Lava Iris 550q and I am quite impressed with this phone. The company claims that this phone is ‘One giant that’s easy to handle’, and boy does that stand true. With a screen size of 5.5 inches, this phone truly dwarfs most of the phones in the market. But all credit to Lava, for designing the phone to be sleek, stylish and light (weighing just 177gms). The USP of the phone is the screen resolution of 720x1280 (HD), which provides amazing clarity and a fine blend of colors. On the technical front, the Lava Iris 550q comes with 1.2 GHz quadcore processor which makes the phone quite fast in operation. The 1 GB RAM provides able backing to the processor, with the set ensuring the phone doesn’t hang when the user is using heavy duty apps. The internal memory of Lava Iris 550q is 4 GB, with external memory expandable up to 32 GB. I personally use a 16 GB memory card which I’ve filled almost to the brim with music, images and files from work. I am glad to say that even after being almost full in memory space, the phone hasn’t slowed down a bit, thanks to its processor. The camera quality is another feature I am particular about as I don’t really like carrying a separate camera when on tour. This phone comes with a primary camera of 8 mp, which enables me to capture quality pictures with every click. The dim light imagery of the phone is also something to note. The secondary camera too is a quality 2 mp, comes in handy whenever required. The operating system in the Lava Iris 550q is Android 4.2 Jelly Bean which is a great addition to a great phone. But for a few minor battery issues, this phone is a winner in every aspect.

It is Excellent Phone but not for music lovers

Hi Guys, I got this phone not from flipkart , but i am using since 2 months. Pros: 1.Gud Processing speed 2. Never Hangs like other dual core or single core 3.No need to say everything will be up to your mark , you can compare with HTC or Other Branded high ended mobiles Cons: 1. It is only multimedia tab, Bad signal gain. some times it will show Single bar also even other mobiles showing full bars. so it is very bad for low signal calling 2. audio jack is worst and will gives very less sound Gaming and net purpose it is excellent

Was Working Fine...But...

I had purchased this product in May 2014.When I started using the product it was working quite well. But after a few does its performence started lagging. Finally on a fine day..The Touch completely stopped responding.I was receiving msgs on my phone..i was recieving calls but i couldnt do anything. So after my trip to the service center in Pune..they sent the phone to the company for repair. They told us to be patient for 20 days max.We called them after 30 days but still they hadnt done anything. When they finally admitted after 10 more days tht they cannot do anything abt the touchpad (THE COMPANY ITSELF FAILED TO REPAIR THEIR OWN PRODUCT)They decided upon giving us the money back along with the good customer service frm flipkart to collect the defective piece and transferring money to our account... MY ADVICE..IF UR AVOIDING SAMSUNG AND GNG FOR LOW BUDGET PHONES..PREFER MICROMAX

Itne paise mei, itna hi milega

I ordered the phone from Flipkart and have been using it for nearly a month now.nnIf you are looking for a phone with this big a screen size, one would presume that you are looking for a phone for videos or gaming or browsing the net (picture-heavy info).nOn that count, the Lava Iris 550Q disappoints. Although the display is brilliant, the sound is pathetic.nnKeep the phone a few inches away from your eyes and you cannot hear anything.nnThis can be corrected by an Android App, but that might destroy the hardware in the long run.nnThere is also a minor lag in the user interface, but not something that would hinder one's usage.nnThe biggest disappointment is the camera. Although they say that it is 13MP, the pictures seem to be no more than 5MP. You maximize the shots and there is haziness, pixellation clearly evident. Let's not even talk about performance in low light.nnIf the above things do not matter to you, then go ahead and purchase the phone, for it scores on most other counts including:n1. Battery life (10-12 hours of moderate-to-heavy usage)n2. OTG supportn3. Software updates (It is on Android Jellybean presently)n4. Text-based web browsing is awesomen5. Expandable storagen6. Not too difficult to handle (for 5.5in, it is quite easy to handle)n7. HD display is simply brilliant (so long as you don't deep-zoom into things)n8. Eye-catchy (everybody who has seen, has asked 'what phone is this?'. Note: It does have a hand-print prone backcover, but it is easily wiped and maintained)nnSincerely,
