Amzing phone for this price

I have ordered this phone in Flipkart yesterday and eagerly waiting for the delivery. I zeroed in on this phone after going through lots of online reviews. I liked all the aspects of this phone except for the internal memory of 4 GB.I hope the phone will live up to my expectations though little skeptical about the 4 GB internal memory. I wish it had at least 8GB. Anyways I will post a detailed review once I get to play with the phone. I couldn't find any pouch or flip case for this phone. If somebody knows where I can get one plz let me know.nnI received my phone on 9th, just on the 3rd day of placing my order. Flipkart as usual excellent delivery :-)nnNow let me get into the detailed review of the phone after two days usage:nnPros:n1. Excellent screen. It is a treat to watch videos and play game on this phonen2. Sound: The sound quality is good and loud as well. However not good when using the kit earphones.n3. Battery: With a good amount of gaming, browsing, music and calls it s easily giving a battery backup of 1.5 days, which i think is good for a phone of this spec.n4. Gaming and Performance: The only relatively heavy game which i have played in this is Templerun 2 and Subway Surfer and I am pretty satisfied with the performance. absolutely no lags.n5. Network coverage: The Coverage seems to be decent. I haven't found any issue with this till now. n6. Overall look and feel: The phone has a premium look and feel to it and looks very sleek. It feels very solid (similar to HTC) in hand, however it is lightweight.nnCons:n1. Accessories: The charger and earphone looks very plasticy and substandard. The sound quality is not good with the kit earphones. it is better when I am using my philips earphonesn2. No case or Pouch available: there is no flip case or pouch available anywhere (I have not come across). I had to settle down for a generic pouch for now.nnIn a nutshell, the phone is really worthy of the money you spent on it and i'll surely recommend it. Anyways, need to wait and watch how the phone is holding up in the long run.nnUpdating my review after around 4 months of usage:n1. The network coverage of this phone is excellent. The call and sound quality is good even when the signal strength is weak.n2. Gaming experience is good with minimal or no lag... I have tried Temple run 2, Subway surfer, Deer Hunder 2014, Fifa 2014, Dhoom 3, Stick cricket etc......n3. Battery backup is decent. Gives one day backup with heavy gaming and moderate internet usagen4. Now 8 GB version of this phone is available.. What more you can ask for?n5. Variety of flip covers are available across ecommerce sitesn6. Icing on the cake: Price has comedown to around 16k... I paid 18 K around 4 months back......

Good Product Pathetic Service Center

I purchased the Lenovo S820 from Flipkart because it wasn't available in shops around my area, who told me they stopped keeping Lenovo products due to service issues. That didn't stop me from buying this phone from Flipkart.nnIt's a thin and premium looking phone. The speakers and screen picture quality are very good. It's really feels good to pick this phone in your hands. But the moment I dropped it, the edge of the phone got dented. That looked very bad and I never saw this issue in the earlier phones I used such as Galaxy Nexus, Galaxy S and Xolo Q700. On a few occasions of dropping the phone, cracks developed in the plastic body near the edges. The phone looks bad now and the back cover and the front panel doesn't fit properly.nnI found out there is 'only one' service center in Mumbai that too at a very far off area in Andheri (HCL Tower). The staff are least bothered to serve you. After 3-4 repeated attempts someone answers the call. After I told the customer representative 'Irshad' that I would like to change the plastic body of my phone he told me that he will check if the part is available. I waited for 5 minutes on call and then he told me to leave me number with him and that I should call him later if he doesn't call. And he didn't. That show they don't want to serve.nnI later called him after a day. He told me that the body will cost me Rs. 2000 (I was expecting around Rs. 1000 max) and it will take 15 days to replace the body. Also, it make take longer. I don't see it they will really be able to replace the body.nnSo I will definitely not go for a Lenovo phone next time. Service to customers so matter and the company should think of getting their own service centers around india.

DONT BUY

Bought this phone in 16000/- two months back.Unfortunately it fell and the display glass broke.nTo my horror I could not find the glass anywhere .Then I enquired in the service centre and I was told that the replacementcost would be 11500/- , can anyone believe the cost of replacing display of a 16000 bucks handset would be 11500/-.nSo please avoid as I lost my money and felt like cheated.

Great value for money

Hi all I've been using this phone for 2 months now. So here comes my review.nnPros:n1. The phone is blazing fast. I haven't encountered a single lag. Its smooth to move around the screen.n2. The display is awesome with really good colours and great blacks.n3. Has a decent battery life and can last for more than a day with average everyday usage with 3g connection turned on all the timen4. UI is very attractive and offers a lot of options for customizationn5. Camera is pretty good than many other top brand phones out there and there are a lot of tools that you can play around withn6. Voice clarity and background noise cancellation during calls is amazing. I previously has a Sony Xperia and I had to press the phone to my ear to hear the person at the other end. With this, even while travellinmg where ther is lot of nice, I can hear clearly.n7. There is no call dropping.n8. Lenovo power does a good job at power saving but it tends to interfere with our day to day activities. We can always download a battery saver app from the play store thoughn9. Sound quality is very good. I read some reviews that the headphones that come with the box are useless. But I found them to be on par with if not better than some sony headphone that come with xperia models. Basically if you are not an audiophile, then the headphones will be perfect for youn10. There are a lot of highly useful inbuilt apps like the task cleaner which does a pretty good job at clearing RAM space and in stlyen11. Build quality is good and it doesn't feel creaky or wobbly while using although the back panel is a bit slippery so you might want to take additional care if you have sweaty palms.nnCons:n1. Takes a long time to charge a 100%n2. Automatic brightness is bit glitchy. The screen dims and brights up randomly with no apparent reason.nnIf you want a dual sim smart phone with these specs butdont want to trust models like lava or xolo and at the same time want something other than the big brands like sony samsung etc, then blindly go for thisnIts a bang for your bucknnIf you have any more questions regarding this, then please post it here

Very good phone, in comparison to any other.

It is a very good phone, very light weight, battery goes on for one full day. And all smartphones are battery-consumers, so comparatively this one does not use so much battery. Does not hang at all. Video quality and picture quality is very good. Processor is very fast. Transition of the menu icons is creative and random, interesting, when you go through various pages of apps on your phone screen. The screen is rich and HD. Indeed colorful. For this price, it is worth even quitting your decision to buy an I-Fone. In fact, the touch and response is better than others, you can similar to the top quality S4 in Samsung also, at this price what else. One should buy this phone if you are looking for a dual sim with android and complete features of a smart phone. It is just a go-get-it phone. We also got to know about this phone recently and did not know this existed at all, because we had zeroed in on Samsung phones and HTC phones earlier. With no disrespect to other brands, and not going into mud-slinging, this phone is superb and must buy for all the people who want a complete phone. Especially red color phone which we bought, is superb for girls, and there maybe other colors too. You can choose. There is nothing bad about this phone and no criticism at all. And be assured, I am not writing on behalf of the brand. To prove that, I can say that Lenovo may be relatively known for its computers or processors, and not its phones, but after using this phone, I can say that it is a phone worth every paisa, and value for money, very economically priced. And I promise that if I ever come across anything bad in this phone, I will surely post it here, so far I have found nothing bad or disadvantageous in this phone. In fact when I use apps in this phone compared to my Ifone, I realised that they are easier, especially news apps like TOI etc., are easy to read. Audio quality is very good and realistic kind. Screen is big and comfortable, non-straining. Aaj ke liye itna hi kaafi hai lol.
