THINK TWICE BEFORE BUYING A LENOVO PHONE.........MY ONE CRASHED IN TWO MONTHS AND CONPANY FOOLED AROUND ME FOR 3 THREE MONTHS TO REPAIR IT SAYING PART HAS TO COME FROM CHINA......FRUSTED AND WITH NO OPTIONS LEFT WITH I TOOK THE LOSS AND BOUGHT AA NEW PHONE............THOUSANDS OF HARD EARNED MONEY WENT IN TO DRAIN

Hi Guys,nnJust bought the lenovo Vibe X, please see review comments as per my one week usage:n1. First of all touch of the phone is not good at all, it feels like using any cheap chinese phone. Very slow movements of icons while dragging your fingers.n2. Secondly processor of the phone is slow, though it says 2 GB RAM but you will feel its nt performing at that level.n3. No cover/screen card is available for this phone. I have searched in all markets and over the internet too, no luck.n4. Rear view Camera is so so, not up to the mark as a 13MP should be.n5. 16 GB memory is not expandable.n6. Using the phone will not give you a feel of 25K phone, it should be priced around 15K.

I bought this from Flipkart and I have been using it since January 2014. nnGood Things:n1: Packing is very goodn2: Very slim and light weightn3: Front and rear camera quality surprisingly superbn4: Touch is very smoothn5: Speaker quality is very good for games, calls and musicn6: OS Themes are very good looking and user friendlynnBad things:nn1: WiFi antenna seems to me not strong enoughn2: Headphone sound quality is averagen3: Accessories like ScreenGurad/Covers/Flips not available in the market. I bought back cover from ebay.nnOther Important things:nn1: No extra SD card slot (Only inbuilt storage)n2: Micro sim slotnnnNow regarding FlipKart experience: I have received wrong invoice along with the product and they took more then a month to provide me the correct one. It was frustrating experience. I made several follow-up calls and emails for the correct invoice and atlast their Twitter team provided me the resolution. Their customer support is very poor. This is the reason i am giving 4 stars instead of 5.

Everything is great about this device except 2 things.nn1) 2000mAh battery - Micromax turbo has the same mAh battery,and it can only last a day of average use. This is a powerful battery on a normal budget phone with a smaller screen of 245 ppi.Vibe X has a high quality high PPI screen,so it consumes a lot of power to power up all those pixels.So 2000mAh battery is not enough.nnXolo made the write move by putting their 1080p Q3000 with a 4000mAh battery.And it costs less.nn2) More than an year old operating system on board. Android Jellybean 4.2.

It will put iPhone to shame when it comes to build quality and and the physical feel of the device. Its sleeker, its bigger and its more beautiful in every way. Reviews say its a bit slower but frankly speaking the specs offered are great. The SecureIt antivirus app is great and provides one of the most comprehensive anti-virus and privacy controls for Android. It lets you control what information applications can access, something that has become vital for anyone with an Android phone. If you are dissatisfied with the customized GUI of lenovo on android 4.2 jellybean root it after your warranty expires an year later. I am surprised its not selling like hot cakes. You can get the vibe x for 23k on other websites but believe you me you'll not regret buying this device. Lenovo has a fairly wide network of service centers so that rounds up your after sales service issues.nnUpdate: After using for about a month now I'd say the battery life is sufficient not off the charts. At minimum brightness level the phone easily survives a day and a half with the data connection on, though WiFi will consume power at faster rates. The device feels just as nice and super light with no scratches on screen or back. Appreciation abound from friends on its sleekness and lightness. The GUI is not difficult to navigate through and has some cool soft-wares. Still a recommend.
