I heard about the quality of product Micromax offers but after Purchase the Micromax canvas Gold A300, I have to say that company is doing great in Phone's market.nIt is just 6.9mm wide... & finish is amazing.nFirst look of the phone is just so impressive & i really feel good after purchased the Phone.nEverything is so perfect about the phone...nnA must buy MADE IN INDIA product.nWhy go for Samsung if you have MICROMAX

I brought this phone from a local shop @21k, and after using this phone for over 2 weeks, i am writing its pros and cons. npros:n-superb design, no Samsung phone stands apartn-super slim, light weightn-processor is great, far better than Galaxy_Grand_2 or Galaxy_S4n-2gb ram is more than enoughn-display: one of the best ever (although its not OLED)n-camera: better than galaxy_note_2n-with Android Kitkat, you can install Google camera, which is amazing.n-25GB memory available to usern-Android CastScreen is also available ncons:n-wifi: worst wifi ever, galaxy_Y has better wifi than this phonen-gps: gps is slow, no GLONASSn-battery: okay, you'll need to charge it every nightn-heating issues: battery temperature reaches upto 42 deg Celciusn-no memory card slot, but that's okayn-one more thing i'd like to add: front cam: after 8 months of usage, its front cam has gathered dust particles from the inside nBenchmarks:nAntutu: 25254 (better than galaxy_S4, Note_2, HTC_one)nNenamark 2: 58.2 fps nConclusion: Buy it!

I got this phone 10 days back and after spending 10 days with this phone, here is my thought about this phone. Before I go, just wanna point out that I was one of the persons that had a gazillion thoughts on investing 21k on a micromax mobile.nnDesign: iPhone 5S bigger version. No doubts in it, but it looks amazing and gives an overall premium feeling.nnScreen: 2 words - Absolutely Gorgeous. Sunlight visibility is good, too. nnProcessor: I ran a number of benchmarks myself and got result better than phones like S4 and Xperia Z, but when it comes to GPU, it is slightly weaker than the contenders. GPU is like 95% of Adreno 320 which is common in this range. On a day to day basis, this means shit, as I have already tested games like Dead Trigger 1 & 2, Assassin's Creed: Pirates, Call of Duty:Strike Team, and they run without hiccups. Multitasking is a breeze and there are no lags in the UInnBattery: The MAJOR drawback of this phone, especially during gaming. It is safe to say that, this drawback comes into play only during gaming. Continuously listening to music and browsing on 3G gives you about 4-5 hours easily. No problems there. If you're into gaming like me, battery backup would be your major drawback too and you'd be better looking elsewhere.nnMusic: Earphones supplied are not so good. Better to buy new ones.nnOne last thing I'd like to point out is that it does heats up while playing heavy games. The temperature usually hovers around 41-42°C (checked with CPU-Z) which is quite normal, but as the back is metal, you do notice the warmth. nnOverall, I'm half-happy with what I bought. Half-happy because it is simply a beast, better than some phones at or above 27k, but with a weak battery when it comes to gaming which is my favourite past-time.nnI hope you found it a little useful.

Hello guys,nI bought this phone from flipkart on 24th July and here is my unbiased review of this phone :nLets start with pros :n1)Excellent look and feel, black and gold combination is just superb, its very light to hold and finish aluminium look at the back gives it a premiuim look.n2)Very slim and easy to carry even though its giant with 5.5 inches of screen.nnBut to my surprise this phone carries n number of shortcomings :n1) WiFi is worst, the phones from other companies in the range of 5-6k have much better than this and i belive that this whole series has very weak WiFi, not sure how MMX have released this series without even testing its WiFi properly.n2) Phone start to heat up a lot while playing games or during surfing.n3) Battery back up does not suite the specs of this phone, its extremely less, drains out extremely faster.n4) While in the call,even at full volume, the sound is very low and is not noise free very often, a bigger disappointment for everyone.n5) To my surprize, they are charging 21K bucks for this monster phone, where screen is TFT with LTPS, a betray by MMX. We should expect atleast LCD IPS display at this range, resolution not up to the mark.n6) Camera quality (rear) is not up to the mark, owing to its 16MP power, the shutter speed is very slow,images captured were equivalent to 8MP of other bigger brands.n7) Touch is just ok, not that great at this range.n8) UI is boring and monotonous, no customization given by MMX.n9) Horrible after sales support by MMX, they are just importing readymade devices from China, and selling by their own name.n10) No corning gorilla glass protection, you can expect this even in the range of 7-10K, another bigger disappointment.nnTo conclude, i am feeling betrayed after buying this phone, i request all my buyers and users to please do not buy this phone, it is just worhless , you cannot buy a phone based on its looks and screen size. I hope this review helps!!nI have already ordered for refund or atleast replacement with a phone of different brand, just a horrible expeience with MMX, it sucks!!
