Gives a very good first impression but is made of a very very poor quality stuff. The display screen of the phone can brake by even a simple pressure of a thumb or may be if you press it slightly hard against your ears . Bought it 3 weeks back , kept it my trouser pocket and when i took it out after sometime , the screen was broken , even though the outside cover and protective screen guard is intact and not even a scratch is visible. The service center guy of micromax confirmed the poor quality of the screen and asked for Rs 550 for replacing the screen , thats almost 40% of the price of the phone . Absolutely not worth it, there are better sturdier phones available at the same price.

It has so many advantages that i feel shame writing any disadvantage for such a price. User interface is great, feels like working with windows phone. Music quality is great on speaker as well as headset. Be sure to purchase this mini handy cell without a second thought. Resolution of screen is fantastic and video plays with 320x240 smoothly with 1000bps even which is not possible in 3000/- rs nokia or samsung mobile.

Micromax X272 is a very wonderful mobile set. The price is also very cheap, having almost every kinds of features - mp3 player, mp4, 3gp videos, loud speakers, camera, memory up to 16gb, tourch, long life battery, And the most wonderful thing is its charger - the charger having USB port, it can be use as Data Cable & very easily transfer data, songs, videos etc. to memory card from PC. Over all this is a complete package phone.

Brought this phone from Flipkart last Sunday, got it delivered by Wednesday. First impression on opening the box Phone looks better than that in the given images. Very good battery backup. Loads an 8 GB Memory card without delays. Music Audio quality is good on both speaker and headset. Good Video display quality. The only problem is that I am not able to hear properly on call from the handset, but when you use the speaker phone or headset it is fine. checked if there is any setting / audio setting during call, but not able to find it. If that was working well then it is a 5 start performer.

I ordered this mobile just like that with in no time since i need on in urgent.. I expected very basic mobile with dull screen and below average user interface. But it really surprised me , It has > Bright display >Easy user interface > I am able to import contacts with vcf file (Never expected this will be available in this mobile) What to say.. JUst value for money :)
