MOTO not yet on FIRE

Not much to say here, well it cannot be a discussion regarding resolution like "PPI" too much. well it was mentioned by "Anubhav" that it has got really low ppi of 165. Well! my friend, Ipad/Ipad2 both have PPI of 132 only. but people don't argue that, because it's Apple. nits a decent product from MOTO but not something which has set things on FIRE that too XT. ngo for it for a large display(though HVGA is just fine if not good), large battery, latest Android, front cam (HTC and Samsung have nothing with front cam in this price range). nWe are yet to see some major Competition from HTC(check out HTC Bliss), due for launch soon.

Bang for the buck!

I was on the lookout for an affordable and reliable Android phone which would allow me inter alia to make video calls as well as be and easy to use which decent styling. I must say that I have fallen in love with the phone courtesy the widgets and the clarity and size of the screen which allows me to read documents with ease (trust me, I have a BlackBerry Bold for my official purpose and yet I find the Moto better). The processor at 800 MHz is superb and so far the phone has never been sluggish. The camera with its auto focus and flash is pretty good and at 5MP you get decent shot. This Moto is far better than HTC Wildfire and Widlfire S phones that are its competitors. The problem with the latter is typing on the phone which is on account of the petite frame of the Wildfire and Wildfire S. The plus points are: Processor Speed Secondary Camera for video calls Primary Camera for photo shooting Light and thin design, easy to use Latest Android OS (2.3 Gingerbread) The negatives: Touch screen not made of Gorilla glass, so not meant for heavy duty work. Lack of accessories associated with the phone (maybe because it is newly launched) like screen guards, phone cases. Moto Lounge is inaccessible for customers in India. Place for improvements Colour of the phone:Different colours should have been available Battery; Last for just about a day Keypad; Initially typing on the phone is difficult but later one manages to adjust to it just. Conclusion; Motorola has produced a winner for having made a phone that is fun and easy to use and fitted with a great processor which runs Gingerbread (Android 2.3). Maybe it is the Google effect after it took over Motorola Mobility.

Not worth the price!!!

i bought the product 3 days ago from flipkart...there nodoubt about thier service the product was delivered on time as they promised. Regarding the product, it looks good from out side but the 5 megapixel camera quality is very poor worse than 3 mega pixel camera and also the sound quality sucks !!!....the product looks high-fi but the quality of head phones provided are very cheap, there is no pouch for the mobile as provided by samsung and nokia,. Also the screan guard keeps on comming out. for those who are buying this mobile i sugesst please please ensure that there is a distributer at your place for motorola, bcoz motorola cell are not found commonly on the shops this days... i wish i could exchange this product to flipkart with something else...

Great Android Phone..

if u r looking for all the below features in a single phone n also worried about ur pocket.. then must go for it: ..android 2.3 gingerbread (runs very smoothly, no lags/hangs) ..3.5" capacitive touchscreen (excellent, there is big difference between 3.5" n 3.2" screen) ..front cam (excellent quality) ..rear cam 5 mp + autofocus + flash (average, but >3.2 mp) ..800Mhz processor + graphic card + 512 MB RAM(gaming is excellent) ..sound quality (very good but not loud, install realplayer for loudness) ..budget around 10500 Rs. the 5 mp cam is not so great it is average(still better than 3.2 mp of leading brands) the average battery life is about 2 days with normal usage including gaming, browsing, media n clicking pics.. best android phone to buy around 10500. I wud recommend it in this price range.

Motorola Fire XT

Motorola is on fire. Good to see that the company is launching lot’s of new mobile sets. Defy, Fire, Fire XT and soon to come Pro & Defy . I have gone through the specs and trust me, except the front camera and big capacity battery it cannot be compared to Wildfire S, LG Optimus 550. There is a basic & minimum expectation from touch screen phones now days and i.e. screen resolution. Fire XT has a ppi (pixel per inch) of 165 which is quite less than HTC Wildfire S, LG Optimus 550 or let’s says Micomax A70, all having a ppi of 180. More the ppi, better is the resolution, clarity & sharpness of pictures. Fire XT is available for Rs 13000 online which I believe is on higher side because you can pay Rs 2400 more and can get Defy @ 15400 having excellent resolution with ppi of 265.
