RAZR is back, Gorgeous DROID

Today is my third day with Gorgeous RAZR, say it 70 hours. Here are my ratings Display - 10/10 Call quality - 10/10 Battery - 8/10 Wireless Radios - 8/10 Look - 10/10 Sound - 10/10 - Absolutely great And rest of the things are exceptional, I saw a lot of things revamped on Motorola Cusom UI, Liked Keyboards and Background Colors of each function like messaging etc.. Overall, it is a pretty good phone, Royalist. But I expect a RAZR Mini from Motorola very soon in a couple of months, that will have Girls in the pocket. I am sure they cannot handle this big Classic Droid. So has Motorola succeeded in reclaiming the prestige that once belonged to the RAZR brand? Unequivocally, yes -- the handset is just physically stunning. It's thinner than almost any phone on the market and makes no sacrifices to attain its slim physique. It's solidly constructed from premium materials like diamond-cut aluminum, Gorilla Glass and a sheet of super-slick Kevlar. Don't get me wrong -- the RAZR's beauty is not only skin deep. The LTE radio, 1.2GHz dual-core processor and 1GB of RAM make sure this sleek number is ready to run with the big boys. It kept pace with, and in some cases clearly outclassed its high-end competition. Despite its deficiencies in the display department and underwhelming battery life, the RAZR looks to be a perfectly viable alternative when considering the similarly-pricey Rezound and Galaxy Nexus

too dangerous to fall in wrong hands!!!

Hi everyone, I bought Razr couple of days back... it is truly a great phone. Motorola had gone beyond engineering limits to achieve this excellent design. Previously using motorola milestone and the moment i saw this phone i fell for it.nnFirst thing i noticed is the 4.3 inch screen. it was simply gorgeous and AMOLED display does its job well. Kevlar in the rear side gives soft touch and better grip;so in-spite of its width, one can hold the mobile comfortably in single hand. If you have noted this earlier, Razr supports only microSIM card, so you have to get it from your network service provider.nnthe animations in home screen, opening/closing apps were fluidic. it never slowed down for any reason, even-though there is lot of apps running in background. this is achieved by the 1.2GHz Dual core processor, in combination with 1GB ram.nnit has 16GB internal memory out of which 8GB is available for user and remaining 8GB is for OS and apps, so we never ran out of memory and can install enough apps. it supports micro SD card up-to 32GB.nni played lot of games and the graphics is very nice. one concern is that if you watch the display closely, the pen-tile matrix effect is clearly visible.but at regular viewing distance, it is not a great issue.nnRazr has 8MP camera for taking pics and records video at 1080p. the picture quality is not the best but not the worst. it is acceptable for me and i'm sure everybody will like it. video shooting lacks continuous auto focus so one has to take care not to lose focus when zooming. the 1.3MP front camera takes very decent self portrait pics. it is good enough for video calling.nnthe battery backup is very good. with 100% charge in the morning and average day usage, still 50% left in the evening. this is really good for a new battery and over a period of time i'm sure the backup time will improve. Also i don't think non-removable battery is really a concern.nnone wonderful feature in Razr is the Motocast application. I installed Motocast in my laptop at my home and synced with mobile. I can access my files in laptop even from my office and i never even know i'm using it through cloud. the support for social networking and push mail is also good. Music player is simple but good. the lyric finder automatically downloaded lyrics of the song which is being played and it was all fun.nni'm happy to own a marvelous smartphone, "the slimmest smartphone" yet another achievement from Motorola.nnRegards,nDeepak S

Legend is back with a bang

As many people may think it is equal to galaxy S2 why would it be a bit higher priced...there are plenty of reasons that would keep on the toe .. first and fore most it is the thinnest phone on the planet with awesome looks.. not totally plastic(like gs2) but plastic that is stronger than steel.. and a beautiful aluminum bezel carrier from the old razr.. Nanotechnology that can repel water..so phone is reliable(think u have to use the phone during rain--i faced it many times with other phones) Engadget has showed it overrun gs2 in most of the bench mark tests.. And last but not the least it has wide variety of dock options that are unique and of main interest( think u have lot of pictures and videos that u took and u want to show it to the whole family in you HDTV-HDMI)

Satisfied!

Today is my 3rd day with the phone, and I am totally satisfied with it. The looks, and the feel in hand totally makes up for some of the places where it lags behind. Pros: 1. Looks, feel - you'll get compliments 2. Processor speed - found no difference v/s S2 3. Smart Actions 4. Call quality - Motorola is one of the best in this regard Cons: 1. Battery life (Im still optimizing my usage so as to maximize it) 2. Camera (not the best in the market, but very good, still) 3. Width (guys with small hands/ ladies might find it a little uncomfortable) 4. Syncing with the computer (I migrated from iPhone, nothing as compared to iTunes) 5. A bit expensive right now 6. Data card not included Overall, I'm totally satisfied with this phone, and with flipkart (got it in 3 days)

Motorola RAZR Above All

As like all other phones, the only thing which is poor is the battery... (8/10) 10/10 for the rest..... "Impossibly thin" - this word ate most other mobiles.... I got mine from Flipkart and if possible can anyone other than Motorola produce such a phone? No way, Glory to the Father of Mobiles... Hellomoto
