I have been using this phone for about 11 months now. Being a mechanical engg, i am sure i am the roughest user of the phone. Have dropped it more than 6-7 times, handled with dirty hands and still the phone works like new. the music player and video is good and battery life is simply super. I read e-books while travelling and listen to songs and at times watch mp4 movies all through, yet the battery still seems to have much more to give me. the camera is good enough to give decent images. all through, its a good value for money. Though applications seem to be limited, how many do we use it quite regularly anyways na? so never regret buying this phone.

I've bought the mobile through Flipkart.com... Got an excellent deal... The mobile was received in perfect condition just within 3 days of payment.nnLooks and Ergonomics: The ergonomics is good. Materials are of very good quality. nnOperating System: I'm quite new to Simbian OS as the other mobile I'm having is Samsung Omnia which is a Windows based mobile... But I can tell all of you that though I've loaded the memory card with 100s of songs and videos etc but the mobile is amazingly fast. At least better than my Windows based and other Symbian mobiles my uncles and friends are using.nnCamera: I found the Camera is though 5 MP but not that impressive picture quality at least under flash. Along with that features are also much lesser than my Omnia's Camera. Flash/Torch is quite powerful. Video Quality is also pretty OK...nnE-mail: Configuration of mail is very easy. Only thing is if I want to mark/select multiple mails or messages every time I have to click the option button and from there we need to go through the menu elements then select mark/unmark and in submenu I have to select the mark button which is pretty annoying...nnOther than that, mostly I liked the features... I'ld like to say that if u buy this mobile, you are going to get impressed...nnHope this review will be helpful to you...

I just love this mobile.. Its body material and its camera clearity is awesome..... i have one e5 but i think i can buy also another one .......

I bought this one in may2011. And the price has remained quite constant...that is surprising. E5 is an excellent phone. gives you quite some value for your money. It has all the basic feature that an office going guy might need. Ok! i dont do much gaming and I dont go Oooh! and AAhhh! on the celeberity phone having a zillion features which I am anyway not going to use. And nor do i have to impress clients or girlfriends.nApart from calling, texting and calender scheduling the features I use aren1)calender sync with microsoft outlookn2)as a modem when my broad band failsn3)checking email when I dont have my laptop or dont feel like setting it up.n4)picture/contact synchronization between my laptop and e5.n5)and at times the GPSnI would NOT recommend this phone to any person who supports spiky hair or tattered orange jeans. Nor would I recommend it to the flashy, smarty who has an habit of whhizzing out his smartphone like the protagonist of a wild wild west movie.nyeah! a person who is more interested in having a rugged.... all features working phone which is office friendly can rely on this set.

I was previously using the E-72. I must admit that the E5 has a reasonably Good 3G exprience though not as good as the Samsung Galaxy,3. One major plus is the Wifi works great and unlike the ubiquitous android phones, the E-5 can connect to adhoc networks.nHowever some flaws that Nokia looks into asap.n- The memory card slot is inside. Hence if one has to remove or change the Memory Card, one has to take out the battery and switch off the phone,which does piss off anyone.n- The device runs on the same old Symbian OS, with no game changing upgrades. Hence one has to be content with what you are offered.nnThe bottom line is Never Ever compare e-% to any other android phone E-5 is in a class of its own, it can never match the Samsung Galaxy. For a hassle free experience, this is the phone to go for.nnAnd last but not the least i must mention, Flipkart service, it is truly awesome. Hope it does not deteriorate over time, as most companies have.Cheers once again.n3.
