I was a bit sceptical if buying a realme phone. But I heard from my friends that realme ui had made huge improvement in the rubbish color os that was seen before. The product came one day earlier than before and I was happy with the packaging and delivery. The performance is alright, nothing to write home about. You can feel minor ui lag while using but overall it's running smoothly. I haven't played much gaming but when with heavy usage the phone didn't get hot which was very surprising and happy for me. The screen is absolutely splendid. No issues. 1080p is more than enough and it is vibrant. The absence of a notch makes it an even more pleasurable experience. AMOLED panel by Samsung gives deep blacks and punch color. The pop up camera works well and it retracts when it detects a drop. The front camera is decent but I don't care as I use the front camera just for video calls and nothing more. The rear camera is alright too. But it could have been better. The 48mp sensor is very capable but I feel that it is not used to it's fullest in this phone. As a person who uses a professional DSLR every single day the camera is just average. Pictures after pretty Sharp and over saturated. The video is also acceptable. 960fps is just a died and in real world it cannot be used as the quality is really low and requires a lot of light. 120 and 240 is much more useable. Night more is also acceptable. Nothing to get very excited about. Overall an ok camera performance. The battery life was great for me. It could easily last for a full day with the 3700mah battery. And the 20w vooc Chester is pretty fast too. So no complaints there. The decimal point in the charging percentage is cool. The software is much better. I am currently running on realme ui 1.0 and Android 10 and it is much cleaner than before. Animations are better and it feels a bit like often is now. The fingerprint sensor is pretty fast and animations are exciting. The face unlock works pretty fast too but I won't recommend using that as it is a moving part and susceptible to damage. The phone feels pretty light in hand and it's well balanced. The provider back cover is good for protection but bad for looks. The phone looks awesome and I bought the blueish color that looks super cool. The buttons are tactile and the power button is colored. The speakers are Loud and clear. The microphone and earpiece quality is also great. The headphone jack is good too with Dolby Atmos taking care of the rest. The Bluetooth is also great and had no issues with connection or streaming quality. Realme X is a great buy even in 2020. For 16k it's pretty good and unique unlike other realme devices. It's better looking than the xt x2 5 pro and the rest. Overall a great phone.

I'm writing this review after 3 months of usage pros: 1.Good display. But sometime it will automatically shifted to a warm tone and stay in that for 3to 4 days. Then it will be automatically become normal. Its due to its buggy software. Display brightness is ok ok. outdoor visibility is not too good. Although It's a full HD+ samsung panel. And one more thing, hdr video in youtube is dull, less contrasty, and less saturated. Again it's a software fault. 2.Intial Color os was not too good. But after 2 updates it has become stable. Dark mode now available. But not fully compatible with all apps e.g, whatsapp. Android 10 will be available from February 2020 confirmed by company. 3. It has a single bottom ward firing mono speaker which proudeces not excellent but decent sound. Dolby atmos only works in wird earphone modes. Bluetooth dolby is not still supported. Earpiece audio quality is one of the best and can even beat some flagships. Earpiece grill is large, realme should have provided stereo audio. Qualcomm aptx hd audio is present for bluetooth. No hi res audio certification officially available. 3. Fingerprint sensor is optical one and its one of the fastest one. It will become faster with your usage. It is as fast as oneplus devices. significantly faster than s10, note 10, reno and other flagships. Face unlock is pretty quick considirng the pop up mechanism. Fingerprint sesnsor works even your finger is slightly wet.unlike capacitor sensors. 4. Camera is single sensor imx 586 with large 1.6um pixels, 1/2 inch sensor and huge 1.7 apperture. produce decent image in good to moderate light. although is kind od oversaturated. there is a 5mp 2d depth camera which works terribly. Edge detection is poorest among any budget camera. Mi phones have great potraits. But otherwise is image is clean, noise free,not over sharpened. Cam2api supported and you can use gcam. For low light don't use stock camera nighscape bcs it's trash. Use gcam for low light. 48 MP mode is just upsacling the 12 MP image so nothing so sharp image you will get. The selfie is pretty good retains good details in face. It is a 16 MP imx 471 sensor . In gcam selfies will be 4MP using pixel bining. 5. Battery is moderate. You will get a full day of usage in a single charge if you are light to moderate user. A heavy user or gamer may need it to charge it again based on the usage. Charger is 20 watt vooc which can charge 10-100% in 70 mins. charging is not a headache although you have to carry the exact adapter and cable for superfast charging. You can also use oneplus dash charger for charging the phone and will get the same result. you can also use other chargers. phone has USB C port but its only usb 2.0 so basically data transfer speed will be same as micro usb. well played realme. Phoen does not support wireless charging. 6.Build quality is solid. High quality plastic is used. It will be feel same as glass. No IP rating or any kind of water protection is applied so be safe. phone is quite heavy. Provided plastic case is solid and use it to avoid scratches. 7. phone uses Snapdragron 710, which is almost as fast as snapdragon 835 used in oneplus 5t, or any 2017 flagship. pubg runs in high settings . In smooth, balanced you will get ultra fps (40fps) and in hd you will get high fps(30fps). hdr is not supported . Call of duty is playable in 60 fps in all settings execept in very high in which it will run in 40 fps. sd 710 cpu is slightly poor in compared to 675 but gpu is highly powerfull. and in every day usage both cpu and gpu is needed so dont fear. 4gb ram is enough. It's LPDDR4X ram and storage is ufs 2.1 . No sd card slot is provided. Dual band wifi is provided. Lte cat 12 is present
