I've been using it for a week. So far so good. The battery life is honestly much much better. The resolution is brilliant and so is the audio and voice quality. It does heat up a bit at times during heavy downloading, but hey.... Just dip it in water and it's back to normal

Edit: Yes I gave 4 stars to this item by July. This is september, I regret it. Aug 28: Ear speaker got noisy. Thought it was a signal problem Aug 29: Same issue again. Gave it local service center (Tambaram, Chennai). They gave back after reinstalling the software. Speaker was buzzy again. They said NW quality could be poor. They play one inbuilt sound with lowering the vloume. It was OK Aug 30: Tested the call quality with other SIM card comparing the same in another phone. It is issue with this phone only Aug 31: Resubmitted the phone. This time they accepted and said will make a repair and return back my 3 -5 working days. (When asked about Standby phone, they simply said its currently unavailable) Sep 4: I Called local service center. Got the update as "Waiting for part". ETA 3-4 working days Sep 5; Tried Customer care chat support. I was asked to contact local service center Sep 8: service center guys called me. Got the update as "Waiting for part". ETA 3-4 working days Sep 11: I Called local service center. Got the update as "Waiting for part". ETA 3-4 working days Sep 11: Called customer care. Got update as "Senior person from Sony will give a call back" Sep 14: Sony Senior person called me and heard all my story. At last he said, I will get a update from Regional Head office, following day. Sep 16: Service center guys called me. Got the update as "Waiting for part". ETA 1 hour upon receiving the part. When asked about part status, no answer This phone is still available for Sale in India. But the parts for repair is not available yet. Heard about Moto X Play. Yes I regret for choosing Sony. Have been using for almost one month. Can't say Excellent but Value for money. Flipkart - U will never fail bro ! Pros: - Battery backup is good. Modest usage: 1 day; Heavy usage: 12 - 14 hours Inbuilt stamina and ultra stamina mode gives more benefits while traveling. - Camera is promising. (Except low light environment - Value for money) - System will use about 600 MB RAM without any gaps. After installing some necessary background apps(FB, Whatsapp, Instagram, Truecaller), We will get 1 GB RAM for usage - Internal memory - about 11 GB for user - GPS hiccups most time. But with mobile data or Wifi it will catch easily. - Charging time - 2 hours - Easily accessible power button and Volume rocker (Good for Music on the go) - Water proof (didn't have guts to test it though) - 4G Enabled at right time (didn't test it though) Cons: - Dont ever activate Sony MyXperia protection (Anti-theft app). It almost bricked my phone after Google services got updated. - Heating - Yes it is. Same as all Latest Snapdragon devices - Classic In-ear Ear phones (Like Old Nokia - long end for left and short end for right). Seriously Sony ??.. Not even In-canal headset for 21K - USB Cable + 3-PIN wall charger (Not retractile Ground head)- So I gotta find 3 phase outlet every time i wanna charge..?!

No doubt i am a SONY lover, At first i started with Xperia S, Now i upgraded my phone with xperia M4 aqua. I am using this phone from a week and didn't find any problem, no heating issue, no lags. Screen is producing beautiful vivid colors, nice build quality, white color is best in all. Speed and performance is awesome, music quality is mind blowing, no one can beat this. Camera performance is very very good. screen size is perfect for hands. Super slim, easy to use, superb finish back. In short I am in love with this sexiest sony mid ranger. Love u xperia

Bought M4 Aqua from Sony Good 1. Built Quality 2. WaterProof/Dust Proof 3. Battery Life Bad 1. Camera Detailing in Low light 2. Huge Bezel space on top n bottom in front , feels large due to that at times 3. Screen Resolution and Colour rendering. I know there has been issues reported of M4 being over heating with high usage , i must admit on first battery cycle it was touching 60*c near camera / top portion. but from next day temperatures are under control even with fair usage. even with 30 mins continuous browsing and photoshoots of 10 mins or so you don't feel the heat. i am not sure with high res gaming it stays the same. Battery is awesome, lasts pretty well for 2 days. My wife has fairly low usage of mobile , it lasted upto 3 days without charging. but with normal usage it will get you through for 1.5 days for sure. Front Camera is 5 mp and performs very well. Back Camera has something wrong as it doesn't give a result that should come from a Sony 13 MP camera. The autofocus is slow and doesn't guarantee a perfect focus in their Superior Auto Mode. i feel they should look into their camera app in next update if any. though photos are decent and it will look far better if you throw it to your laptop or Bravia TV. this is because the M4 screen does not render good colours as well has low ppi resolution with respect to its screen size. with one bottom speaker music is clear and loud enough. earphones came with it are of ok quality. Overall a decent phone with main waterproof advantage and exact similar looks to the costlier twin Z3. You wont be able to find the difference apart from those magnetic charging ports which are in Z3. i bought white. but i felt that black and coral would look even better than white. Happy Shopping!

Really bad experience of this Sony product. Even though the phone has very good specifications such as 2 GB RAM, 16 GB internal memory, 128 GB expandable, dual active sim, IP 68 water proof, Octacore processor, HD display, however it gets heated up quickly while using and aslo while charging. The phone screen blanked out and phone got hung thrice in three days. The FM radio reception also found to be poor. Also the replacement guarantee is of only 10 days. I dont know if this piece is defective or product is poorly designed. I am dissapointed with flipkart after this experience. Sony seems to be compromising on quality.
