i have already used 6 to 7 smartphones in last one year (i like to buy cellphones:-) )nreally i must say that in 1 year smartphones have changed from hell to heaven. forget about stupid samsung galaxy phones they are not worth buyingni bought spice uno the day it was launched for my younger brother. ncutting the point......about spice uno.... n1. firstly the touch sensitivity and the speed with which you open an app and close another is mind blowing. sliding the finger on the screen nd opening any app doesnt make u waitnin terms of speed it is better than MOTO E. i have personally tested both the devices (my friend has moto e) n2. It is damn light in weight....when holding in hand it feels like as if i m holding a kitkat chocolate nn3. processing is superfast.....can play big games like asphalt, modern combat very well n4. battery- can live for a day if you are not using it just for playing games all the time nnonly one little con-nyour phone should have a sd memory card only then the camera can click pictures otherwise it wont (something which google did deliberately to save space in the phone memory ) so better buy a 16 gb sd card it is sufficient for ordinary usenpoint to be noted- u cant read or write the phone's internal memory so better get a bigger memory card nspice uno vs. moto enmoto e has gorilla glass 3 whereas spice uno doesnt have- so you better dont let it fallnmoto e doesnt have front facing camera, spice uno has nnfinal verdict-nif you are a fist time smartphone buyernif you want a decent phone with android in it, with superb featuresnthen just go for it, u wont regret later

I have been looking forward to A1 since the time it was announced in I/O by Sundar P. Thanks to Flipkart and Spice I received mine today ..delivered in less than 18 hours.nI have had an opportunity to boot up the phone and try out the basic features. nSince I currently own a device that uses KK4.4, the features on this phone were very familiar and easy to use. nI am impressed with the boot up time and touch screen. The applications loaded fast and youtube played well. The speaker which is at the rear side is not too great but expected at this price point. The camera is reasonable again for the price point.nnFlipkart had a few apps preloaded and Spice cloud has an app too.nnGreat budget phone and the access to google updates is going to be a great plus !

Screen pixel density 218ppi which is not bad compared with Samsung phonesn2. 1.3Ghz quad core mediatek processor with 1GB RAM but feel slight lagging when increasing the app count in the system tray. Hope Google will provide some patch updates to handle this lag.n3. Battery is not bad but it will not last for more than 12 to 18hrs depends upon your network signal strength and usage due to the limited battery strength of 1700mahn4. Light sensor is working like a charm including the automatic brightnessn5. No issue with proximity sensor while in call, screen light cut off is perfectn6. Hearing aid feature is missing as like moton7. More than 50% of RAM is free only eventhough feel small lag while using many appsn8. Internal memory is 2.2GB, which is more than enough for app lovers and game lovers needs to look for some other smart phone n9. Capacitive touch sensitive is average but not bad at this price point and IPS panel is a welcome feature with the expected brightness leveln10. In-Call volume is little bit less compared with other phones, feel little bit difficult to hear the opponent voice in the noisy environmentn11. Gorilla glass/Dragon tail glass is missing when compared with moto e, asus 400g, redmin12. Phone look is awesome which is very slim and weight is less than 130gmsn13. Camera clarity is average with auto focus feature is an added advantagen14. Ok Google in voice over without manual touch is a wonderful feature even moto g/moto e is not havingn15. Voice Clarity is better than moto E

Got it for 6149(150 mobile app discount). Very nice phone with great and smooth UI experience.nnI bought both redmi 1s and Spice uno together, but sold redmi due to following reason:n1. there is something wrong in MIUI. at times something wrong happens with even basic applications such as camera and u need to restart the phone.nn2. heating near rear camera is inconveniently higher than other smart phones.nn3. it is bulkier and thicker than spice.nn4. though ppi is lower on paper for spice, i found Spice display to be very much at par.nnnMy personal opinion: Guys go for android one device instead of redmi.

I got this phone yesterday and whoooooo ...superb build quality...smooth performance and good earphone ..good resolution..I am quite impressed by what they are offering at such low cost. If one is moving to smartphone for the first time, this is perfect for him/her. Camera quality is decent. You need to have memory card before you click a pic.nAnd Flipkart one day delivery is great as always.nI am giving five star because of the overall package ( software/hardware & perfomnace)
