Pros:nThis is a great value for money phone!nLooks impressive.nHardware looks pretty good after a couple of days use.nScreen looks pretty neat with huge viewing angle.nSAR values as per Indian Standards (1.6 watt/kg averaged over 1 gram tissue)nA very decent battery life.nnCons:nThe only thing I did not like is the speaker of this phone. Since its behind and packed the quality is low with vibrations. But this should not be an issue as we generally use the earplugs for music.nnSurely can compete against Micromax a116. I don't know if people really fall for quad core processor! This sounds funny. You need to code first an app with that requirement then probably say this scores better! Beats a116 in battery I suppose (I have not literally compared, but thru other reviews)nnI don't see Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos coming into competition. It has far inferior screen resolution! It made me really sad.nnReally happy with this XOLO product! Hail XOLO!!!

How can u compare A1000 with Canvas HD. Canvas HD is superior everywhere. 1.2 GHz Quad core vs 1GHz dual core PowerVR SGX544 vs SGX531 (GPU; for gamers) Well, I have written this from my view of gaming. Games will obviously run smoother on Canvas HD due to better GPU and Better CPU. So if you want a smartphone for gaming, go for Canvas HD.

RAXIT D Stated in his comment that DUAL CORE CPU is identical to QUAD CORE CPU..nNo way man....nDo you know that the CPU that A1000 uses the same CPU that was used in A110...nIf there is no improvement in performance, why Micromax do it?nnThe ANTUTU Benchmark test says it all..nA1000 scores around 6500 & A116 scores 13130...nGPU is also better in Micromax A116(Good news for gamers)nnRAXIT D make sure that the things u say are true coz the people who want to buy mobiles believes on REVIEWS and don't make them fool by this kind of information..nnI suggest you to Google it if u have any doubts..nnThe phone is Awesome if you don't compare it with A116

when i unboxed it.....looks preety owsome...and performence is also even better,i will give it 9/10....even though mmx a116 hav only adv. to his processor but don't compare it with him coz u can't face any prob. even while running big app./games 1ghz dual-core is enough n i can't see any app. at that time in market which can cross it.....it's damm too good :)

The phone is really stunning in terms of looks. It doesn't look cheap.nThe performance is good, but not great.nIt really takes 1080p videos and videos look awesome on the 5 inch screen.nnI liked it. It took some time for flipkart to deliver this product. But it did reach me a day before that flipkart had told me.
