I am very much delighted after having received this tab, though I am not a fan of XOLO brand but since this tablet has been manufactured by the makers of fast processors, TEGRA, this device has quad core processor, which is quite snappy, It is a pure stock Android platform, no garnishing on top of android as such, which makes it a fast multitasking tablet.nPreviously I was planning to buy Nexus 7 2013 model, but you get the same configuration in this tab paying less than Nexus 7, though Nexus's resolution is 1080P, but I would say that at n1280 X 800 is not bad at all and the screen is quite bright, colour rendering is quite natural and you don't notice any pixelation while surfing or looking at photos.nnPROSn1.Cheaper than Nexus 2 2013 modeln2.Fast processor and no lags, or hang problem.n3.Gaming is smooth, no stuttering at alln4. Multitasking is a breezen5. I forgot to mention about stylus, which is quite an amusement for children to draw anything using the stylus and it is quite accurate and responsive. I think after samsung notes, this is the only tablet which provides an integrated stylus. Though it is of less use but sometimes if you don't want to type, and you want to take note of something you can write down things quite easily.n6. You can expand its memory by using micro sd card.n7. Front facing stereo speaker sound good and you can enjoy watching movies on this device.n8. Better battery back than nexus 7 (though I haven’t used nexus 7 )but it has slightly bigger battery than nexusn9. Camera results are satisfactory, not for lowlight, room should be adequately lit if you want to shoot indoors, then you will get better results.nnCONSn1. Micro usb charging port is very fragile and you fear to damage it easily, insert micro usb carefully don’t force,n2. Micro SD card slot has no capping, it is an open slot..(strange)n3. I would have preferred a unidesign matte finish back cover rather than a star war looking device.n4. My suggestions to all mobile and tablet manufacturers, please provide a screen protector with every device you supply. On this device use anti reflective screen guard if you read a lot or surf a lot. It is too much reflective with the default screen protector plastic.nnI read lots of reviews and opinions before buying and gadget, so I hope my reviews would help people to make a good judgement of any product before buying.nnThanks

this is an awesome device in almost all aspeects but I hope flipkart would stop changing the price every so often depending on device's availability in a competitor website. changing thee price by a thousand rupees every other hour is not fair.......

Flipkart this review is directed to you. U have an excellent product but you are constantly changing the price. U may do this based on the market value, but doing this u r losing face and respect that u have earned.. From a Loyal Flipkart user.. Seriously stick to one price

First of all its not a Xolo product, it is purely manufactured by Nvidia and is licensed to Xolo,Gigabyte, EVGA, ZOTAC and few others for selling the tab in different geographical locations. So, Xolo cannot be credited for its development in any level, they just re-brand it and sell it in India. So, basically this is NVIDIA’s first tablet.nnnPlaying around it for an hour now. Few things I have noticed so far.nn1. The OS is vanilla (stock) android with literally no changes n2. Shipped with 4.2.2, but got an update of 4.3 as soon as I switched on the devicen3. The stylus which is NVIDIA DirectStylus™ pen is quite impressive and is equally good as Samsung Note's stylus. Best part of the device so far. The two apps that are custom made for the stylus is okay but could be improved.n4.The sound quality is really good (and high), can be compared with all the decently sounding laptops and so far the best in the tab i have foundn5. Little disappointed with camera, although didn't try it outdoors, but in artificial light it is just an average 5 mp camera (contrary to Nvidia's claim)n6. I was quite skeptical about the built-in quality based on the many reviews, but the fact that it is quite heavy and a good back-side design makes it look really good if not the best in the market.n7. Screen quality is decent, considering the fact that I am using Galaxy Grand now, I found it quite okay.nnI am quite positive about about its processing power and gaming exprience, will download few heavy games and try it out soon.nnWill give a detailed review, after testing it for few days.nThank you

I bought a XOLO play Tegra Note 7 (It has a Nvidea Tegra GPU but ultimately a XOLO tablet) on June 21, 2014. I was happily playing games on it, even updated it to KitKit but happy days were short lived. July 24, 2014 the touch started acting wired. Went to the service center on July 25, 2014. They took the tab and told me to call after couple of days. I called them up on July 26, 2014 they told me that it is fixed, you can collect it on July 28, 2014. I went happily to service center with the hope that I and my tab would be united again only to find that they just formatted the tab and didn’t even care to see if the problem is fixed. Tab was in same position as had handed over to them. Upon bring in this to their notice they decided that the touch had problems (which I told them on the first day itself) and tab has to be sent to Delhi (I am in Kolkata) for changing touch panels. A new job sheet was created on July 28, 2014 by which my tab was to visit Delhi. I was little peaceful that atleast technicians in Delhi Head Office would do justice. (We often forget that justice is pretty hard to come in this country). On August 08, 2014 I got a SMS from XOLO that my tab is repaired and I have to collect it from the service center at the earliest. (Don’t be carried away with the word ‘earliest’). I called up the service center on August 09, 2014 and they told me to come on August 12, 2014 to collect it. (see how early that was). Learning from my earlier experience this time around my happiness was in control but I had confidence in the justice of Delhi Head Office technicians. After I was handed over my tab I was unable to even power it on, because it had no power. Battery was totally discharged so I had to put it in charge wait for 30 mins in the service center so that it could just start. After it powered on and I hit the first touch to my horror it was still in the same condition. If any technicians would have just touched the tab for only once he would have understood that it’s not fixed. What I doubt is they didn’t even try to fix it. They are just playing around with the customer. This I am not just telling from my experience but also of other customers present in that service center. In 30mins that I was waiting in service center saw atleast 30 customers with all shots of problem. What was astonishing was that all the customers had brought their handset 1-2 months back. 5-6 customers were having repeated problems.(Guy sitting beside me was saying that coming to Xolo service center is like a monthly tour with something or other going wrong) . For every issue they would say that it will take 15-20 days which would eventually run to 30-45 days. A elderly uncle sitting behind me told his son gifted him the phone 6 months back, of the 6 months he could hardly use it for 2 months and rest 4 months it was staying with service center. I bought this tab for fun/gaming but by the crowd that I saw in the service center were middle class. They can’t buy Samsung or Sony and they easily get attracted by fancy design and specification of Xolo but end up losing their hard earned money on useless piece of plastic. Now I don’t have any hopes as in when I will get back my tablet because I know even if get it someday somehow properly fixed, someday later it may just come out with another issue and I too might have to start monthly tour to Xolo service center. My advice, Buy brand (even though less feature/ dull looks but atleast they work)
