Both 16gb and 64gb variant of mipad 2 does not have a sd card expansion slot. However one can use a pendrive on it using usb c type OTG cable to acceess additional storage
Out of 16 gb user gets 10 12 gb of space which on the average is pretty sufficient for one to use this tablet for media as well as working purposes.
There is no expansion slot so one can not think of expanding its storage..
