Actually I am searching from the last few days for a laptop with required configuration is i3 Processor (above 2 GHz Clock Speed, 2MB Catch Memory), 4GB RAM, 500HDD, 14" Screen these all are in my budget (around 25k) as my wish I found this laptop with another additional benefit that is 03 years warranty. I rcvd this laptop on 15th May'14 then I loaded OS & all required programmes for me, using continuously, no issues found till date. Build quality is good, Battery backup giving up to 4 - 4.5 Hrs. I recommends this laptop for Budget & Everyday users.
Poorest ever experience , I will never purchase another product from FLIPKART. For just selling this Laptop, in June they wrote 3-Year Onsite Warranty. But when I registered this on Acer website, they clarified me that this laptop comes with only 1 year warranty. This is not at all acceptable.
I have received this product in two days, and found it fantastic. I have been using Aspire 4720z for the last 7 years, and am utterly satisfied. Acer has omitted some good features, though, like volume control, Aux port, front audio jack ports, Bluetooth in this version. Overall, it is a more sturdy product compared to my older one. And of course, it is lightening fast with Windows 8. Pricing is quite amazing for this configuration. With 14" screen, and 6 cells battery, it works for remarkable long hours without charging. Must buy for students and professionals, since it is easy to carry and astounding to work with. Moreover, drivers installation is also utterly easy, just press 'Install All' and wait for a few minutes, all drivers are set.
It was clearly mentioned on the Flipkart's site that the product has 3 years of warranty when I purchased the product back in May. And now they are refusing to accept it. The same could be confirmed by other certified buyers as well. Its a really badly build laptop. They have used a cheap plastic for the outer case. The quality of the screen is equally bad. And it does not have separated keys so even typing for long tenure could be pain. Its hardly been 10 months and I've given the laptop for repair for 4 times which speaks for itself!
