Great Laptop and great specs, the processor should be called "Core i3" instead of "Pentium.". Installing Windows 7 was really easy as it came with the new BIOS out of the box. The older laptops came with an old BIOS and had to be updated in order to support Windows 7. Pros: 1. Very sleek and Lightweight, everything including the Battery and Charger. 2. New generation components and Expandable RAM 3. Support for Windows 7 and 8/8.1. 4. Fast booting and comfortable keyboard 5. Very Cheap and is the best laptop under Rs.30,000 (I got it for Rs.15,641 with all offers including Discounts and Bank Cashbacks) 6. The laptop has everything that we need, nothing more nothing less. We get a lot of i5 and i7 processors but most of the things that we do are browsing and watch movies. So rather than burning a power hungry processor and laptop, having such low power laptops saves a lot on Electricity Bill and purchase cost. Cons: Nothing much, atleast not untill now at this price point. Verdict: Go for it if you need a cheap, good looking and good quality model, and not into high end gaming or Video encoding. Best for daily browsing and movies with occasional gaming and best for travel as its light and compact. Hope I cleared the doubts that you might have had :)
Nice product, Really sleek (Didn't expect this much sleek design), very light and good battery life. Looks classy..... Will post a full on review later after using for a week....Installing windows 8.1 was a tough job into this system..... If u also encounter any errors while installing windows in it google it and u will get the solution. BTW I have successfully installed windows 8.1 and now its super....comes with bagpack and driver cd....drivers only for 8 & 8.1.
dont go on its price. it performs very well. not that thick, sleak design, good battery works 3-4 hours on battery installing Windows is bit tricky, you have to change some setting in BIOS When the system start, 1. press F2 to enter bios... 2. Be sure that the UEFI mode is changed to legacy (restart the bios is required). 3. then change the boot sequence to start with the CD unit. 4.Then, install windows 7. (Remember that you must reformat the hole hard drive...)
I FOUND THIS LAPTOP ON DATED 03-JULY-2014. I AM DOUBTFULL ABOUT INSTALLING WIN-7 ON IT. BUT THERE IS NO INSTALLING PROBLEM WITH WIN 7 OR 8. VERY GOOD LAPTOP IN CHEAP PRICE.
i have read the review regarding the laptop. Few thing need to keep in mind it has the support of windows 7(you have to go to bios and change it to legacy mode). it will only install 64 bit OS regardless of windows. if you install windows 8 no need to change . while installing if you get the gpt error then the OS dvd/iso image is 32 bit. you need to install with 64 bit. you don't need to update bios as it is already updated to 2.11. Overall good product in this price. Hope this will help you
