Awesome product with fast processors

Reviewing this product after using 5 days in a row. First, thank you flipkart for delivering the product within 2 days. The product was well packed. Though little sad coz found out that price dropped by Rs.2000 after i ordered. So here it is-- 1. Intel i5 7th gen and 8gb DDR4 gives the best experince , while DDR4 consumes less power than DDR3 and and its combination with i5 7th gives the fastest processing. 2. Boost upto 3 GHz. 3. Battery runs for 4.5 to nearly 5 hrs with constant use of wifi. 4. After constant use the machine doesn't heat up. 5. The battery is internal to the system . So changing the battery will require experts. 6. The Power button is on the keyboard (found out little weird). 7. Default OS is Acer DOS Linux which is not a GUI linux. So you have to separately install windows or ubantu.

Perfect product!

I m writing this review after 20 days of using the laptop. Best laptop for this price, amazing performance, cherry on the top is the battery backup, it's close to 5 hours with normal usage. Charging is also quick gets fully charged in 2 hours. One cannot get any other laptop with such high specs at this price. Very happy with my choice. Go for it guys.

Very nice Laptop at this price

Guys.. first of all who ever has purchased this laptop... needs to set Boot mode in legacy mode in CMOS setup, because otherwise no internal or external DVD writer will be enabled.... nNow lets have pros and cons of this laptop..nnPros..n1) Very high configuration with this price tag.. no other vendor provides such a high configuration with this price tag....9/10 ...ratingn2) Build quality is good but nor very good.. 7/10..ratingn3) As many have commented that speakers is not audible enough.. but don't worry.. its audible enough...8/10...ratingn4) almost very ports available.. 8/10..ratingnnCons...n1) Keyboard at the center that is some keys like O,I, U, Y , 0,9,8 ..while pressing feels to be hollowness below them.. sounds differently than rest of the keys..but that's OK.. no issues..not a major concernsn2) Laptop screen is too delicate to handle while opening .. must needed extra care while handling...n3) power adapter cable is little bit thin which I suspect will get torn over period of time if extra care is not taken to avoid banding...n4) touch pad is not very good.. but OK..

Excellent

First of all i want to point it out that acer is Taiwanese(democratic china) company and this laptop is made in India.nI am writing this review after using it for 3 days.nnGood battery backup , despite having 2800mah i get around 5-6 hrs of backup on 40% brightness and i do lot of web browsing.nnGreat specs at this price point, if you search on all e-commerce sites you would find a direct competitor of this laptop i.e ideapad 310 or 300 , my advice is that don't buy ideapad 310 because it performance is quite low despite having same 7th gen i5 7200u processor and extra 2 gb graphics card. nIn my performance test via passmark acer e5 scored like 2100 overall rating and lenovo ideapad 300 only scored 1500-1600. Heck it can even run battlefield 1 in low settings giving 24-28 fps without graphics card.nThis processor is direct competitor to i7 6600u and 7500u. Which comes in 60k range.nnTrackpad:- it is very smooth and reliable and it supports all type of gestures , it greatly scores over ideapad trackpad.nn nScreen :- 720p is little on downside all laptop manufacturers should give 1080p display but it gets the job done.nnKeyboard :- although it is basic keyboard but it should have indicator keys for capslock etc and backlit also.nnBuild quality is fine, no issues with that.nIt weighs little over 2kg which is impressive.nnOverall i absolutely recommend this laptop in 40k range.nIt will suffice the need of a casual gamer and normal media consumption ,software developer (trust me visual studio 2017 runs superfast on nthis machine).nHappy coding.nPlease purchase extra warranty which comes accidental warranty.nAnd those who can't install windows on this refer to reviews.nIt is very similar to US version which, it only looks bad in photos but in real life it looks awesome.
