Useless product

VERY VRRY WORSE PRODUCT There is no optical drive as described in item details (at the time when I placed order, described " super multi dvd drive". Now changed to " Not available"). There is no LINUX and no OS at all. There is no separate bettary module for external replacement. The power adaptor is so fragile like mobile charger. Delivery is good before the scheduled date. No recommendation at all.

Very poor

Super! It is easy to install any os like windows Linux Ubuntu by just upgrading bios . To upgrade bios you need to burn latest bios update in flash drive which is in resource DVD came with laptop or download it from Acer official website .then upgrade bios by boot mode after upgrade you will get uefi mode and legacy mode optios then you can install easily any os iso file . Don't go to service centre and don't waste money . Iam happy with this product.

Worse One

I purchased and got on 8th feb 2017. Too poor quality, adaptor are like mobile charger, plastic body...no temperment. even if bios is not stable. After receiving i request to return as it looks refurbished item. Most important processor actual speed is .78 MHz boosting to 1.1 MHz . huh

Simply No for Linuxes

I purchased two of these laptop and it was a nightmare. Linux OS runs very good at machines with low configs, but with decent specs and 4 GB ram, it takes ages to load. It took me a day to wait to live cd to load from USB drive. They are shipping with some cheap version of Linux which does not even have a GUI. The reason for this is they are not themselves able to install Ubuntu linux, which is very popularly used. I tried Xubuntu and Lubuntu versions as well, which runs pretty good on even 250 MB of ram. But with this laptop, those versions take forever to lood too. Looking to test I installed boot repair OS which is of only 250 MB, this also takes too much time to load and run. They claim to give Linux/Ubuntu but they do not ship with Ubuntu for the same reason. Also they give CD with only Windows drivers, which is not expected when shipping with Linux. Do not buy this product if you wish to live in peace.
