If You want to buy a Laptop with SSD+i5 (7th gen) You are left with no other choice in this price segment. The said combination gives you an unbeatable performance. nSSD:nFor the ssd, boot time is about (4sec), The fingerprint scanner adds to the start up convenience and the application starts as soon as you click them. 256GB is enough space. Make a partition of 120 GB, which should be enough for the C Drive. nProcessor:ni5,7th gen with performance mode enabled at the power menu Don't let any process stuck. Its been 2 weeks now. No hang/lag for even a single instance. Processes and software installation are faster then never before.nRAM:nThe only place where it lags, is the RAM. Ya, It comes with 4GB of RAM. But, believe me, there is no issue with it. I have tested the RAM by opening multiple applications and numerous tabs on chrome. All are hold in memory. NO ISSUE IN MULTITASKING. Additionally, It has 4 Slots and 2 are used only. So, Upgrade it, If you really want. nnBattery:nI have used this laptop 8 hours continuously, without turning off the display even once. Still left with 10% charge. Thats enough. If it was a mobile 8 hours Screen on time would be insane. nnWeight and design:n1.5 KG only. Its very comfortable to carry and handle.nUltra slim. Lid can be opened using one hand. Lid can be bend upto 180°. All aluminum chassis. No fan opening.nnDisplay:nDisplay is average. HD display with good color accuracy. 14inch screen with HD resolution is not so bad. Obviously not the best. nnPorts: nUSB 3 and Type C ports are lightning fast. Headphone performance is good. Has, HDMI. But lacks a LAN port. But, you can buy a LAN to Type c converter if you need. nnKeyboard:nBacklit keyboard. Its really good to type in. Backlit intensity can not be controlled like macbook air. But, don't think it is really needed. No led for Capslock (You get a on monitor notification). Its not a full keyboard (Don't have number pads as its 14inch ultrabook). nnTrackpad:nTrackpad is very good. Supports gesture and works really well). Works as expected. nnSpeaker: nHave stereo speakers at the bottom in both the sides of the laptop. Loud and sweet. True sound. nnGame:nThis is not really meant to be used for Gaming. But, I tried playing Far Cry 4, it runs smoothly. Graphics quality is not upto the mark though. So, for light gaming there won't be a problem. (Don't expect to run latest high end games without a dedicated graphics card)nnOverall:nIf you are a professional and want to buy a laptop as your daily driver for light to heavy task.. Apart from graphics related work this is the ultimate choice. Just go for it. nExtend warranty upto 3 years for 1750/- from acer website. Including 1 year Accidental Damage Protection.
