I was looking for a laptop with windows 8 and this is a perfect item specially with its touch screen. Don't be put off by the Celeron processor. It is working fine for personal use. It is not for heavy gaming but NFS Most wanted and games of similar generation work fine. If you want even better performance I recommend increasing the Ram from 2 to 4 GB. I heard a lot about low battery life, but I personally find it sufficient. It can go without a charge for 4:30 which is fine for my use
