I have used a Macbook Pro 15 inch i7 top of the line model (2010 make) for two years, and it has always been super dependable. Example : I will have 23 tabs in chrome open, and ten tabs in firefox, as well as processing large excel files. (~30 mb Plus), listening to music on youtube, and also can easily squeeze in something like, video editing on imovie, or Photo processing in iPhoto, and this laptop DOES NOT EVEN BLINK, or let you know that it is stressed. It WORKS! JUST WORKS!!! nnAfter this, i'd just drop it in to my bag, shutting the screen, and open it up for work next morning, and it will boot up in a flash! (The SSD model is amazing - I recommend getting it over a HDD) nnYou can do this for a period of twenty or so days, in a row! Until you notice the boot times slowly increasing. The laptop will still give you the same performance! What a beast!nnThe battery life is insanely good. It gives me 4-5 hours on such a load as above.nnThe con? It HEATS UP! It is one hot mama! It may burn your lap if you put it on it, that hot. Although this is corrected in later models (post 2010 models) - Altogether, if you can afford it, a great investment for a long time. Just don't treat it like shit, and it will give you a long long service.
I have personally used this laptop for 1 month.I have recently purchased this laptop . This has great specifications and it works uninterrupted and it also has 512 mb NVIDIA graphics card which is also very important for playing games.I would suggest you to purchase it.
This model has definitely become old compared to other laptops which are coming out lately but there r some key factors which still stand out. - Last Macbook pro which supports extension of HDD and the RAM. - The HDD can be swapped with solid state drives(SSD). - The DVD combo drive can be taken out and replaced with an HDDSSD as per your liking. - Supports apple compatible RAMs upto 16GB WITHOUT problems of excessive heating which people claim. (I know it because I have extended it to 16GB n the amount heat remained the same even while gaming) I have had mine for roughly 4 years and it hasnt given me a single glitch. Definitely a trustworthy product. Costly but would last for ages if you take good care of it.
I have bought this laptop(not from flipkart) and I must say i enjoy using it a lot. The OS X Mavericks operating system is awesome and extremely user friendly. If you have used an iOS or Android device before, you don't need to learn how to use it, its so user friendly.Its worth every penny, and works like magic. You don't need an antivirus. If you need windows you can install it too! i am not a hardcore gamer, so the games on the mac app store are good enough for me. Dualshock 3 and xbox 360 controllers are also compatible with this laptop. I jut love this thing!
Apple ??? Oh yeah ! nI bought this laptop 1.5 years ago.And it's still working fabulously without any problem.nEven I didn't needed to buy the apple care protection plan...(it costs you around 22K) and guess what It's still working fine.nOnly prob is that it's lower plate heats up since the laptop doesn't contained any exhauster and heat gets dissipated with the lower plate(as apple authority told me that lower plate made up of some special kind of alloys which other company doesn't posses).nSo I would say that if you are willing to pay a lot of bucks than you should go for it.nnNOTE : You won't be able to play any games.....
