Great product, and I noticed one thing about buying products on flipkart. You are guaranteed to get box packed brand new product. I opted for in day delivery and I got the delivery next day in Pune. Which is a great service option provided by flipkart even if you have to pay little extra like 90Rs for around 1 Lac product for getting it next day nothing like it. Regarding product: Pros: Excellent speed, Excellent battery backup and Excellent user experience. When you are done with your work just shut the lid and machine will be suspended in state where you are. Next time you want to resume your work just open the lid and there you are where you left last time. Most perfect machine I have ever come across, Many thanks to Steve Jobs for his incredible vision for this product as well as incredible job done. You feel very excited to use this machine and it comes with top end configuration. Cons: Transferring data through pen drive sometimes become problem, as it doesn't support writing to different file systems At the end: It took me lot of time to decide looking at its cost. But once I got this machine, I never regretted for spending this much money. This product is worth every peny you pay for it. And if you are spending so much of money then buy it on flipkart you are assured to get box packed machine with very good packaging.
This is one beast of a machine! but i'd recommend that u try getting an upgraded one with 16gb ram and 512gb ssd ... for gamers it is highly recommended u go for the graphic card upgrade.. the graphics on the integrated iris pro chip is not bad for mid level gaming... but for hardcore gamers dedicated graphics is always the best suited option... as for the battery life as my rMBP is new it gives me a groundbreaking 9.5hrs on continuous wifi usage (i.e safari).. and 7-8 hrs on a normal usage of applications like pages and numbers etc...7-8 hrs of video... music as far i believe u have plenty of charge to keep listening to music for days..(wifi off condition).. on the whole this machine is great... also keep your eyes open for the lenovo y510p if u r nt a hardcore apple fan u might wanna consider that laptop.. cheers! :) PS: The upgrades are nt available on flipkart but u can buy the higher end model from flipkart.. for separate upgrades (ram,cpu,gpu,ssd) contact the apple store directly. Also, all upgrades to be mentioned while purchasing the rMBP... no future hardware upgrades are possible..(besides the ssd which i learnt in some blogs saying its detachable, nevertheless if any changes to be made do it wen u buy it) :)
I bought this product a few months back, its really worth. Especially for people looking for music production / video editing etc.. this if for you - go for it! Thank you flipkart for the great service!
I know Apple laptops are expensive, but in my opinion they are value for money. I have this MBP for some time now and it's great. It's my 3rd Apple Laptop since the old PowerPC days. It has got everything a Windows laptop can think of. Think of it as legendary McLaren F1 compared to other ordinary cars like Ferrari.
