I was skeptical buying a macbook pro. I only had ever tried windows and linux and Lenovo/Dell/HP laptops. I had tried iPhone 4/5 and didn't think the Apple phones were all that great. nnYet,when it came to buying a powerful, developer laptop, with all my research, I simply couldn't find a better one than the Macbook Pro 15" 2013 Retina, and all the expert reviews were saying the same thing and so I finally took the plunge. And I was shocked, simply shocked. This laptop is frikking expensive, but you get every paisa of value. It is a _pleasure_ to use. After dealing with bulky lenovo laptops, I didn't realize that one could pack so much power into something so remarkably light.nnI can read all day (and night) with this sceen and not have any eye fatigue. The 512GB SSD just rocks, the OS is smoother than butter, I can throw anything at this laptop - 30GB code compiles, MMO games, FPS games, ray-tracing, rendering and it delivers. The whole package works so well. For command line freaks like me, OSX has a fully customizable terminal, homebrew for unix software and just about any keyboard shortcut you need. This laptop is now my closest companion :)
You guys are charging way more than the apple store. I m sure the prices will be updated soon. But I think you guys are trying to make the most of the situation by selling as many units of mbp as possible to unsuspecting people who don't know about the price cut yet. My rating is not for the product, but for it's price.
Being Priced 4 times the General Laptops, it Even Provides many of the things 4 times...nn1) Equips the Latest 4th-Gen Intel Processors, not simply Haswell but its Crystalwell variant. Which is even Better for Graphics Purposes...... Coz it Provides L4 Cache of 128 MB...... Which is not available in previous Gen or Haswell Processors........nn2) The Processor is Quad-Core. Which Even 60-80,000 Range laptops Don't Provide....nn3) The Breathtaking Display is just Awesome at 2880x1800 Resolution.n 4K of standard laptop Resolution 1366x768.nn4) 16 GigaBytes of RAM is just Fantastic!!!!!nn5) Battery Life is 8-10 hours as per usage.But even 8 Hours is just mind-blowing.nn6) Its just 1.8 cms thin. Most of the other Laptops are between 2.5-3.5 cms thick. The Overall design is even Gorgeous. Made completely out of unibody Aluminium.nn7) It has Full Flash Storage of 512 GB, Not Hybrid Storage like UltraBooks. So its 4x Significantly Faster Than conventional Storage.nn8) And Most Importantly it has OS X Mavericks. The Most Advance Computer Operating System. And Most Probably the future updates of OS X are gonna be FREE Updates for the owners.nn9) ThunderBolt Port is an I/O Port like USB. It Has transfer speed of 20Gbps. Even though we are not surrounded by thunderbolt capable devices now, but in near future it will act very helpful.nn10) Finally its designed by "Apple". The most Valuable brand of 2013. And most popular brand of all times.nnIt does not have a Disk Drive. But it Doesn't Matter. Coz I don't Believe any of us would be using disk drives even once a year. And Soon Disks are going to become Obsolete, the technology of old times.nnThis Laptop is a Future Proof one.nnGo Buy it if you require such power...
I have been eyeing this laptop, top of the line from Apple since a while now and this is priced at 2L at all retail stores. I got it from flipkart for 174500 :o :o :o and not to forget the additional 10% cashback on AXIS Bank cards upto 1500 Rs.nSo basically I saved almost over 27k on this product :)
No Doubt its Expensive.... but best product with higher configuration and quality... nI'm mac user since 2011.... before it 'm windows user.... too much different between this two OS/interfaces.... Apple made something different from other.... nnGood job Apple....
