When people think of MacBooks, the first word in their minds is 'overpriced'. After all, aren't there bigger, better laptops out there for roughly the same price? Well, you're both right and wrong. See, it all depends on preference. If you want a laptop which is a gaming beast, with tons of fans, cool lights and hardware which, though inefficient, will give you ultimate gaming performance and don't mind having a machine that's more of desktop than a laptop, this isn't the PC for you. That's not because the MacBook is slow. On the contrary, it's a powerhouse that can roll with the best out there. However, Mac games are few and Bootcamping for Windows is not a hassle everyone is ready for. However, if your main concern is a powerful computer that comes with Mac OS X, be it for creative work like FinalCut Pro or just because you're entrenched in Apple's ecosystem with an iPhone/iPad of your own, this is the best out there. Games which do run on OS X, like the critically-acclaimd Arkham City, run perfectly, especially when the laptop is charging-something that lets the laptop run at full power. Seriously, you have to look beyond specs to realise that the software lets this laptop run so efficiently that it doesn't need an 800-series graphics card to give great performance. The software suite is awesome, with Yosemite available as a free upgrade and Continuity allowing you to connect with your iPhone in ways that you'll have to read professional reviews to understand. But you know what's the best thing? Even with performance that puts it up there with the best laptops in the market, the MacBook Pro is less than an inch thick closed and weighs around 2.02 kg. In short, that's more portable than an ultrabook with the power of a gaming laptop. So, is this laptop for everyone? Hell no. If you need pure, unadulterated power and don't mind an absolutely monstrous thing that makes tons of noise that you can't carry everywhere, you'd be better off looking elsewhere. However, if you need the best all-rounder out there and accept that you'll need to relearn a few keyboard shortcuts to make full use of OS X, this is the laptop for you.
Guys this is really nice...processor, performance, clarity never down in apple. This can be named as a luxury laptop as it doesn't lack anywhere, talking about mac UI the most fabolous UI and at last the quality of hardware used is very strong and light. This laptop is also very smmoth and easy to handle....
hello everyone this is a honest review of using a mac for almost a month first of all this mac was priced at around 1,79,000 but on flipkart i got it at 1,57,000 and with its awesome in a day delivery first of all this is mentioned to come with Mavericks OS but it actually came with the OS X Yosemite which is pretty cool. and to all those people who think that its a overpriced laptop i seriously think that they should use this once , you get adapted to it and trust me its a tech value for money ... tell me in which laptop you get a mac expirence with retina display and a processor with core i7 , 16Gigs or ram , 2GB NVIDIA geforce 750m graphics and more of all 512 gigs of SSD storage ... if you are in search of a laptop and willing to spend enough money then go for it . and of not willing to spend more money then please do spend and buy this awesome laptop you'll never regret after buying
The macbook pro is, and always will be the best of laptops. The 15-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display is ideal for professionals who need the extra screen space afforded by a 15-inch notebook, especially if they're likely to carry it around a lot. By ditching the optical drive and replacing the hard drive with built-in solid-state storage, Apple has been able to slim it down to just 1.8cm thick, and reduce the weight to a mere 2.02kg. Of course, its excellent Retina screen is ideal for graphics and video work too. Slimming down the casing forced Apple to drop the FireWire ports for the Retina range - it simply wouldn't fit. But as we get two Thunderbolt ports (using the new Thunderbolt 2 protocol), two USB 3.0 ports, a HDMI outlet and an SDXC card slots.
I got it shipped today. definately apple is apple and no doubts. BUT the product delivered to me was "APPLE REFURBISH" in nature, SO I am really mad at flipkart that they sold me a refurbished product. Though the difference between the MRP is hardly 10,000 BUT MY POINT is If I'am paying 1lakh 60 thousand then i can also pay 10,000 more. BUT DIDn't want the refurbished crap.
