This is My first Review over Flipkart on any product...nSo I will start from here I don't know why people given bad rating to 8 gb model just because of little price much more..nnIts been more than 1 week of using the product and I am regretting now that why I was using windows till from last 6 years. But koi nhi...nnNow I got the Best Brand i.e. Apple Macbook airnnnow I will share Pros n cons(if any).. First I will go with prosnnPros:nExcellent Power back upto 13 hours (On usage of internet + Music simultaneously)nSlimmest Ultrabook just equal to my mobile on frontnFast Bootup in less than 8 secnLightWeight (Less than or equal to 1kg)nGreat & awesome Inbuilt soundnDisplay also good nIts best part its too handy..nnCons:nNot till now... Some people says about application support.nand for this If you google out you will get best alternatives of any windows app.nnSo guys If you want fast, lightweight , durable,long lasting ultrabook, Go for it..nnThanks
Laptop has lesser specifications than windows of this price range, but Mac is Mac. Apple customer service is awesome. But please be aware that you'll get early 2015 version. Not the newest version of this laptop
It's just the best (stating the obvious) ! But the only thing misleading is,they saying it's mac os Sierra whereas what i recieved is el capitan which is an older version . Otherwise all other specifications are as mentioned.
Subject: Fwd: Bad experience with Apple ProductnDear All, nnI wish to share my bad experience with Apple product i.e. Macbook Air (a laptop). I purchased Macbook air laptop (sl no C02NXZd1G085) in Mar,2015 at a price more than 2-3 times the other reputed brands in India. It had a warranty of one year i.e. upto Mar,2016. Within 3 months of purchase, the laptop started getting overheated and getting shutdown within 10-15 minutes of use. I visited their authorized services centre IGENICA in Noida (India). They initially diagnosed that all hardware are in order only some testing of battery or other components is required to assess the problem. I had to make 7-8 visits to their service centre as the same problem recurred after their diagnosis on every visits. nFed up with so much harassment, I called Apple care people also and requested to replace the laptop immediately. But they decided to change the Logic board (mother board) instead of replacing the laptop. Surprisingly, despite having sold lakhs of such laptop, APPLE /IGENICA do not maintain any inventory of components. It consumed a lot of time to get the new Logic board for replacement. The long time of about 3 months taken to finally replace the logic board was a period of unimaginable harassment and mental agony to me. This also consumed 3 month of the warranty period and also depicted incompetency of IGENICA to resolve the problem. nAfter about 6 months of use, laptop was not booting up every now and then. Unfortunately this started happening just after a few days of warranty period (Mar,16). This time I called Apple care and requested to repair the Laptop or replace without any cost as they had taken 3 months to replace logic board during warranty period. They denied to above and advised me to contact Mac Clinic India (another service centre) who charged US$30 (Indian Rs 2000/-) just to diagnose and inform the problem in the laptop. Initially they told that system hardware is in order, only system format will resolve the booting problem. But the laptop did not boot up even after formatting then they diagnosed after taking 3 week that it requires change of Logic board (mother board) and asked US$ 570 (Indian Rs 37500/-) charges for the same with only two month guarantee. nMy request to various level of Apple management to replace the logic board or to replace the laptop without any cost has been turned down stating that it is out of warranty despite the fact that they have taken three months of warranty period to replace the logic board. nOn support community on web, I have come across that thousands of people had similar issue with Mac book and they have painfully mentioned never to buy Apple Product which are unreliable, poor quality and high cost products. Please keep this in mind before buying apple product as their service centre are very unprofessional, incompetent and apple approach to such genuine issue is quite unethical and non-co-operative. A company's true character towards its customer is revealed in adversity. I deeply regret to have purchased apple product for which I spent huge amount and now same is not useable/ repairable. Please rethink before buying their product as one never know who may have to bear the pain of such poor product and services. nnnnIn best interest of all, Please share with all. nn***This review was written by an IT professional from a renowned PSU. Apple, after doing business in India is behaving like Indian business houses, that is absolutely no regard for customers. The 2016 Model is priced at the same price as the 2015 model of Apple. There has been No increase in the price of the Laptop whatsoever. The Etailers have just hiked the Price to earn an extra buck from the end consumer.It is become a thing in our country to burden the End Consumer with heavy prices. Purchased the MacBook from Dubai. It is brilliant. This gets 1 star solely because of the high price.
