This laptop features a nVidia GTX 860 which is comparable to GTX 770 & GT 755 SLI. The 770 version from ASUS costs 30k more. Plus for the 122k you spend gets you similar performance to an Alienware 17 + 8 GB of extra RAM + 750 GB of extra storage + a Subwoofer ;P
Don't get intimidated when i say lost as this mean machine is built to perform to its perfection and way beyond. Of course the 6 figure price can get you other best things in the world but, once you have the courage (As i do) then, go for it and you'll be served the following XXXHOT:-nn1) Super 6c built (Looks to kill for).n2) Amazing rubberized coating that gives premium finish and no finger marks.n3) Keyboard is single construction/built and keys and super smooth to use (Absolute bliss).n4) Extra Large Touch pad gives you super comfortable feel while using it for extended hours.n5) Graphics on 860M are super stunning and out of this world. Play any game on ultra settings and this is how you get lost in the virtual world.n6) Data transfer with 2X7200 SATA is fluid with no major issues (SSD should have been given @ this cost :( ).n7) Blue ray writer is rarely used but is good to have.n8) USB 3 ports on both sides helps a lot.n9) Highly overpriced for Indian market :(((n10) Air vents are helpful enough to save the cost of room heater during winters (Although i found games like BF4/Tomb Raider/Modern Warfare/Sniper Elite 3 to be pretty silent despite on ultra settings.n11) Freebies are super cool and have premium gamer feel (Not just formality). Although, the bag quality should have been as good as what Dell gives for Alienware (Only bag is to drool for).n12) Speakers are pretty good (Loud but subwoofer is overhyped and is of very little use)n13) Sound max tweaks makes good difference if used wisely/separately for headphones and external speakers.n14) Battery life is 3 hrs on general app use and with games on i don't think more than 1.5 hrs.n15) Charger is pretty heavy duty and it takes 1-1.5 hrs for a full charge.nnHope you've found this Review useful. 8th gen graphic card is overkill for any game and will take all updates from geforce experience. 2 gb is sufficient for it screen sizen24 gb ram is future proof nvery useful for composer and model makers in 3-d working on max- maya autodesk and heavy gamers who want to carry their machine with them.n128 gb SSD for OS would have been very useful or if their is a slot for later up gradationnit has to be heavy for the hardware it has.
I could easily notice the difference between a normal high performance laptop and a high performing gaming laptop, I used to own a Dell Inspiron N 7010 Model - special edition with a 1st generation i5 processor. This is definitely a work of art I should say. Games played are so good, you will want to play even more than you already do, and the graphics and sound quality is pretty amazing too. I cannot compare with an alienware because I have not owned one, but this is the lowest version of G750 series, and I should say it is definitely money well spent.nIt has been just one week since i bought, and I have not played hardcore games yet, just DOTA 2.nSpeed, performance, battery, cooling everything I will grade minimum 4/5 stars. On the whole 5.nnFlipkart service and delivery was spot on and am very pleased with the product.
I was initially worried about speed of hard disk. I hate 5400 RPM on a high end laptop like this.nnI found finally it was 7200 RPM after receiving the product.nnThanks flipkart for shipping the product in 2 days as requested.
