Well, there are many laptops out there, and researching the one you like is a tedious task. I took good 2 months to nail down a laptop which I wanted to buy. I had options between Lenovo Ideapad 510 series, HP au620tx and Asus R558UQ-DM701D. All three have similar price range of 55k. Finally I chose to buy Asus for these primary reasons:1. Intel Core i7 7th generation is the best offering from Intel out there and this one has it! Any laptop with a core Intel i7 will cost you excess of 70k. So this one is at a bargain price.2. Nvidia GT 940X 2GB graphics card is very good for gaming. This one packs it in too! Many laptops will go for the cheaper AMD Radeon graphics to bring the laptop cost down.3. Packs an additional USB type C support port. This is not available in many laptops.4. Full HD display with anti-glare coating. Screen does not reflect in heavy lighting conditions.5. 2 years Warranty. Most will give you 1 year only.6. Rest specifications are standard, you will get them in any laptop for the range of 55kCons:1. Does not come pre-installed with Windows 10. So you will need to install it on your own. Luckily there are lot of articles and videos on Google which will help you in this.2. Does not come pre-loaded with Microsoft Office 360. Those who need this will need to buy it separately. I use LibeOffice which is an open source free alternative.3. Keyboard and Caps Lock is not back lit. Matter of choice. Did not find it as a con.4. Screen does not support touch. So you cannot use it as a 2 in 1. Of course, it's not meant to be one either :)Overall, this is for me a very good value for money buy. For the price you will pay, you will get a very good laptop. I have no complains and would suggest this to everyone who would want to buy a new laptop
I bought it from another retailer, trust me this laptop is not worth if you are expecting core i7 cpu powered machine.if often lag as soon as windows starts.customer care is pathetic, i own a genuine windows 10. and if you tell them about windows performance/errors/lags they will simply mislead you.yeah sure the specification looks awesome but i suggest you to go for other good manufacturer for few more bucks.didn't want to write a review but this illusive i7 7th generation machine made me to so.thank you, dont buy it.
Awesome Almost all the games can be played in high graphic settings in this laptop
For the money that you spend, this is a great laptop.at this price point you get a i7 (dual core), with 8 GB ram, 1 tb hdd and not to miss FHD screen. I would say go for it if you are tight on budget.Totally worth.
defective piece revived. some of the keys on the laptop is not working(after one month usage). so my advice is buy it from retail shop. then we can cross check everything.
