I got this laptop offline and I just have to say this is the best laptop you can buy in this range.nProsn1.The Display is gorgeous , its bright , crisp and glare free n2.960m is an excellent performer , perfect for 1080p gamingn3.The battery lasts really long ..about 6-7 hours of web browsingn4.Thinner and lighter than the competition , weighs almost as much as a 15" MacBook Pro~2Kgn5.The SSD is super fast (the fastest yet) , it handily beats pretty much any competitor because in India we mostly get laptops(like inspiron 7559 , acer nitro , alienware 13 )with HDDs and you have to pay north of 1.5Lakhs to get a gaming laptop with a decent PCIE SSDn6.Excellent trackpad , decent keyboardn7.Aluminium finish looks sleek nConsn1.Although the laptop is pretty sturdy and looks nice it doesn't quite match the build quality of the macboks or the XPS lineup from dell but beats the inspirons and acersn2.The keyboard layout takes some time getting used to.n3.960m can handle only a few games on 4K (FIFA etc) , heavier games are unplayable at 4Kn4.Comes with a lot of bloatware installed (can be uninstalled though) n5.The speakers are poor , no bass and they don't get very loud either.nWhile other manufacturers charge quite a lot in india over the USA prices ,Asus has priced this really well , you just can't get a better notebook at this price point.Perfect for gamers who want something portable. nPs- The laptop we get in India is a different model from the US one , it has a matte NON-TOUCH display and has a GTX960m with 4gb Vram instead of 2gb Vram (doesn't make a difference though)
I am using this laptop from more than 3 month outstanding and powerful performance. As expected must buy laptop.
Pros: Very fast, Sturdy finish, good keyboard and trackpadnCons: Yellows on screen are not great, lower portion of screen gets hot, lots of useless software (bloat) that needs to be uninstalled, only Windows 10 Home.nA first look and feel of this laptop doesn't reveal much: it's finished entirely in anodized aluminium and is therefore quite sturdy. The trackpad is glass. The bezel is plastic, and not really as black as on these pictures. However, it’s finished well. The entire laptop is as thick as one-and-a-half fingers, tapering down to one finger at the ends. This might not be as thin and light as an Ultrabook, but it is quite easily portable. The hinge mechanism is excellent: it provides support at all angles between about 20 and 120 degrees, and can be opened up to 90 degrees by a single finger. However, the lid is not the sturdiest, there is a little bit of flex when open and rattle when closed. Thankfully, being made of metal means that this won't be as much a problem as plastic.nThe screen is 4K, and it's crispy clear, as expected from a 4K display. Switching to a "normal" 1080p HD after using this doesn't quite feel right. The matte finish gets the display a few more brownie points. However, the colour reproduction is questionable: only after setting the brightness to 100% and warming the display colours with the "Asus Splendid" software, I was able to get slightly better colours. In particular, the (lack of) yellows stand out; unless at 100% brightness on a calibrated screen, they look slightly mustard. As such, this isn't the laptop for colour-specific tasks like photo-editing, without an external monitor. Sometimes, however, third party software and apps in Windows struggle to scale. The display is set to 250% scaling by default (without which everything is too small), and a few apps show up as tiny little boxes because they don't talk to the scaling settings of Windows. On the new Universal Windows Apps (from the Store), however, this is not a problem, they're made to work with the latest technology. Still, one will find that the odd login screen will need to be zoomed into.nThe keyboard is good. The keys look shallow but have excellent travel. The backlight, I must say, is rarely required, because the keys are all silver, and are quite well lit up by the screen itself. However, while playing the odd game in dim lighting with 0% brightness, it helps that there are three levels of keyboard brightness.nThe trackpad is excellent. It's coated in glass, and the hands glide on the surface. Although I doubt Asus has used a precision trackpad, their "Asus Smart Gesture" software enables all precision gestures including three and four finger taps for Cortana and Notifications, three finger swipes to show desktop and running programmes, etc. The pointer does not randomly jump on the screen and scrolling is smooth. Left clicks can be accessed anywhere on the touchpad by tapping or clicking the touchpad, but the right click can only be done by clicking the touchpad at the bottom right corner. This takes some getting used to.nAll said and done, the laptop so far has done nothing extraordinary to justify its price. Now is the part where one looks inside. The combination of the quad-core i7 processor and the PCIe SSD simply blows through processor and data intensive activities. Two whole restarts are done before a comparable PC with a dual-core i7 and a HDD can boot up. Using several Apps, a couple of office-suite software, two browsers with a few tabs and Blue stacks with a couple of apps open does not cause this to break a sweat. Working on this laptop simply feels fast. This is when the laptop starts really paying off. Video editing, Engineering software, and the likes should comfortably run on this laptop without bogging it down.nThis is not a gaming laptop, but can play modern games at 1080p HD.nThe vents are located between the hinge and the keyboard, and on the underside. The laptop does warm the thighs a little during performance-intensive tasks, but the top portion and keyboard remain cool.nThere is no maintenance hatch, so I am not sure of the upgradability of the RAM & SSD. With the USB-C thunderbolt, external graphics cards can be made use of. The battery life is not all-conquering, but runs for about 4 hours of medium-intensity use and probably up to 7 hours of light use.nTo put it all into conclusion, this is the best non-gaming laptop in the market. The only laptops with comparable specifications are the much more expensive retina MacBook Pro 15 and the unreleased XPS 15, both of which are about ₹50,000 more. There are a few problems like the heating underside of the screen, the big bezel, tons of useless software that must be uninstalled before use, and the fact that this somehow doesn't ship with Windows 10 Pro. However, these are very insignificant issues compared to what this laptop really is: A Ferrari.

I was given a product that was already registered with asus and I can't even register it and I can't even return it because the 10 day return period is over. Very disappointed.
