Just two month before I bought this laptop from TheLapStore, laptop is awesome. nnBut, I dind't got the invoice/bill copy. 4 time i sent an email and 3 call to customer care. Till yet id didn't got the bill/invoice. nnHorrible seller, don't buy anything from TheLapStore.nnRegards, Sunil kumar
Being a student i didnt had much to spend and i followed the formula "If u have 5 rupees buy something that costs less than that", and i ended up with this one for 18900 at a local store.nThese are some things i noticed:nPROS:n1-By the looks of it, no one gonna believe it is a 19k Notebook.(Provided he never seen one like this before).n2-Processor's safety feature shuts down windows explorer if it reaches a certain temperature.n3-1080p videos run smooth.n4-It has got an inbuilt graphics card of 774MB(Celeron being an APU).n5-Good for programming and stuff(only the processing speed after you run the program takes 10-15 sec more(depending on the length of the program) than an 3rd gen i5 processor(Desktop).n6-Photoshop CS3 runs smooth.n7-You actually can run all games on it!(Though most games after 2008-09 are unplayable).n8-Can run games upto 2008-09 pretty smooth.n9-I am playing assassin creed 3 and far cry 3 at 1024*768 (not so smooth but i manage).n10-I get battery backup for nearlly 4 hrs and15 mins while programming and 3 hrs 10 mins while gaming(1024*768) and 2 hrs 50mins watching 1080p movies.n11-2gb 1600MHz RAM. n12-Very slim cause it doesnot have a DVD drive(fools some people in believing it as a ultrabook).n13-WEI rating:nProcessor:- 5.8nRAM:-5.5(2gb)nGraphics-:4.4nGaming Graphics:-6.1nHard DIsk:-5.9n14-ASUS says CPU speed is 1.8GHz(1800MHz) but in CPU-Z, Single core speed is 1198.41 MHz.nnCONS:n1-The key board feels plastic and very cheap(In my case, spacebar not working properly, need to press it harder).It is awful.n2-Only 1 USB 2.0 port and 1 USB 3.0 port.(Causes serious problems if you want to play games online or at the time of designing while using internet at the same time.n3-Once installed NFS RUN on it and played for 5-6 mins and when i touch near the air vents it was nearly 100 degrees O_o. Surprisingly when playing AC3 and Farcry3 it doesnot gets heated muchn4-Don't be fooled by the Altec Lansing Speakers(Like Me). It is under the laptop and sound quality is awful even in maximum volume.(Headphones solves this though).n5-Only 1 RAM slot, so if you want to upgrade it to 4 GB need to remove that and put a new ram with 11-11-11-28 CAS Latency 1600MHz which costs nearly 3k(Talking about GSkill RAMs).n6-Viewing Angle is bad, even when you are infront of it.nnOVERALL PRETTY GOOD FOR ROUGH USE.
Bad Points: 1. USB 3.0 * 1pcs & only 1 Usb 2.0 2. No Dvd Writters 3. touch pad is not soooo gud 4. asus provides bag but other co. provides gud quality 5. hd web cam is not like hd Good Points: 1. windows 8 Looks Very Gud. 2. screen is gud... resolution is gud. 3. resume in 2second feature works fine. 4.sound is ok ok.... 6. 15.6" screen is best at this price. i bought this from local market, not from flipkart it was very cheaper. I would better go with Lenonvo Dual Core at 20,000/-
I bought it and it was a beauty. designed for windows 8. the keyboard controls a are a little tricky. apart from that the lap does not have a problem.
Flipkart delivered the product in quick time, very slim looks like ultra book. I installed windows 8.1 and it works smoothly no hickups good for rough use. Fn button has come out of the board :( usb 2.0 one port is not working i need to check the driver.. Still need to explore blue tooth.. Makes people go wow by the looks of it.. looks like mac book :) but keyboard sucks.
