I bought this laptop one month ago. Till now found no issue. The palm rest is incredibly cool after hours of work. Intel hd 4000 is a good deal considering I am sailing smoothly in Assassin's Creed IV with this. Will recommend this.
Good product with low price.everything is fantastic.especially the speaker are perfect..with 2gb ram its never be hang..only one demerits is its just have 2 usb port it should be 4 ush port
Since a year, I have been reading favorable reviews about different ASUS products, indicating that ASUS makes impressive products. Based on that, I bought an ASUS wi-fi router and now this Laptop. I am pretty impressed with ASUS and I don???t regret buying these products, indeed feel great to have quality products at reasonable prices. In this review, I would like to put few extra points for you readers, which may be useful to you I believe. About Product: Under double discount scheme provided since few weeks now, I got this laptop for pretty low price. I mean for my preferences of anti-glare screen, Intel i3 processor with ULV technology and all other standard features I got for below 21k. The product built quality is great, to me it looks and feels like any 35k laptop, it has sturdy metallic built (not plastic), it has all standard ports & features of current generation laptops too. Although, I feel its touch-pad keys are bit stiff/hard to press, touchpad is bit extra sensitive to touch and I think sound-output is bit low / under-powered. Some reviews (other brands / models) suggest that on Flipkart they sell refurbished or defective products. I noticed few small things that may mean this. 1) The laptop battery should have been kept separately in package, but mine was attached / set in the laptop when I opened the box. 2) The DVD Drive had some issue, as sometimes when I close it, it immediately re-opened. I notified that to ASUS as well as to Flipkart and after couple of weeks, ASUS solved the issue, but at the time of replacing drive, they indicated that drive had internal defect. 3) The laptop comes only with Free-DOS, while installing Windows on it, I saw a pre-existing partition of 13.5 GBs. ASUS customer care executive told me to delete that partition and they could not explain me how a new laptop carries such partition. I do not mean these are sure signs of a refurbished or defective product, but guys, you be curious to notice any such things which may require solution by seller / manufacturer or just return / replace the product, I suggest. ASUS support service was bit poor as they had to be pushed & followed-up to provide good support. 1) This product comes with on-site support, but I was first told to carry it to nearest service center for solution. 2) While replacing DVD drive, they brought mis-matching drive, for which I had to resist, fight and wait quite a much. All this while, Flipkart support service ensured and helped by follow-ups / inquiries at both sides to get DVD-drive issue resolved. Thanks to them for that. Concluding points of this review can be; > ASUS products are GREAT (including this laptop I bought), but they must improve their after-sale-services in India. > Flipkart service standards are new boon to India as they are simply great and reliable (I did not see any other seller providing such a great service in India), please keep that so. > Each buyer must ensure to fight well and get solution if you face issue of defective or refurbished products by any sellers. Do not accept them even for great discounts, because you plan to utilize the newly-bought products for at-least 2-3 years.
