Bought this on 26 Dec. since it's by a third party retailer packaging wasn't good. Problems: 1. When I received the product, found that HD is making too much of noise on read/write. Asus service guy replaced the disk. But seem the Hitachi brand have this issue. 2. Now it's 1 month past and the keyboard have stopped working. Again I have to rush for service. Not sure if they'll replace with genuine parts or not. I don't recommend this to anybody. Cons: 1. 2GB ram not enough, windows 8.1 will eat lot of CPU in disk activities running all the time. 2. PQC not so fast process for daily use too.. By the way, it have few good things too. 1. Light weight 2. Longer batter life due to low nm processor.
The laptop is good in this price range. but dos operating system can be a trouble for customers. if RAM can increase to 4 gb than it can perform 64 bit os more efficiently. nnif we use benchmark software to benchmark than it is come under surfing board category.nFor normal working or day to day working laptop has no performance issues. however some notification lights i.e. caps lock on off etc. are absent. nabout metal body - i am steal confuge wether plastic or metal.nOverall it is a good performer of average user.nnhow to install window :-n1. make a bootable pendrive or cd of windows 8.1 or 10.n2. plug in the pen drive.n3. switch on the laptopn4. system boots from the pendrive and window starts installing.n5. During installation , delete all the drive created by DOS .n6, without deletion , window show error that it can not format the drive and window installation stop.n7. after than make new drive according to your choice by selecting the drive size.n8. and choose the drive in which you want to install window.
what i am spend the money it is worthy for that. battery backup i am not satisfied. hardly 1 hr only other than everything is good.
Laptop is awesome !!! Installed windows 8.1 Pro-- Butter smooth running Has 1 extra ram slot- So additional 2GB can be added later.. Sound clarity is Good !!! (Dont expect JBL kind off :P ) Please check my Sample pics for more details!!!
I will highly recommend this laptop, it is much better than other.it is nice laptop to use for application like word pad, internet, email browising, speadsheet etc, it is good laptop in lesser price.A superb machine for basic computing at such a low price.The battery life is outstanding.Good services by Snap Deal and E-Com courier.Product it spb! we are getting more then our money to be honest. its good for regular usage.go for it! has everything you are looking for at this price!the laptop is working very fine,as per our friends.good to have such kind of laptops with u,world is with u,just go for it.donot miss it to take laptops at cheaper price in SNAPDEAL.u will be late from the world if u didnot take.This laptop has all features which are required for daily use, configuration at this cost is fantastic, i have been using this laptop from last few days and its performance is nice even on heavy softwares which required higher On the whole it is suggestible for daily Personal use.processor. head phones sound clarity is very awesome.
