ASUS is offering Intel Atom Z2580 ( 2.0 GHz ) in Zenfone 6 everywhere in the world however it is offering Intel Atom Z2560 ( 1.6 GHz ) processor in Zenfone 6 to Indian users. Why this discrimination with Indian users? The processor Intel Atom Z2560 (1.6 GHz) is supposed to be for Zenfone 5 and not Zenfone 6.nBuyers be aware!
I am not sure why flipkart is selling a product this product with 1.6 GHz Intel Atom Z2560. I was about to place order but just pulled back
Scene 1 : (18 July 2014)nnBought Asus Zenfone 6 from flipkart (ordered on 15 July 2014). Seller was offering 30 day replacement. After nine days, the device began to show ghost like behaviour. It generates touch event automatically in certain area of the phone (at three points exactly) causing whatever listed there to be selected. The event generates totally random, having no predictable time gap between consecutive events. Tried rebooting and factory resetting, but ghost was still there.nnScene 2: ( 29 July 2014)nn11 days after receiving the phone, I'v filed replacement request in flipkart around 11 AM. Around 7.45 PM, I received a mail saying that replacement request has been rejected. Around 8 PM, a customer executive from flipkart called me and asked to troubleshoot the device, by rebooting and factory resetting (which I'v already tried many times).nnScene 3:nnIn the replacement rejection mail from flipkart, they provided one email id (resolution@flipkart.com) for further assistance and one feedback link. Feedback link presented me the glorious response of page not found error.nnScene 4:nnI sent a mail depicting the issue to resolution@flipkart.com. Frankly, this is a dead end, I think. No response after two days, rather than a system generated reply saying that mail has been received. Totally trapped... :-(
I think Competition Commission of India is not aware about the trends adopted by some websites.... like flipkart.com..... unnecessarily creating more demands and supplying less products to consumers....... nThis is not USA or other Western nation, this is India, we are not getting devices in subsidized rates.... we pay greater price...and we can not tolerate things like monopoly.... stop this nonsense trend and supply products to consumers.....nWe'll file RTI.... how do websites sell so many products in such a moment.... in seconds......
