Blackberry is a common word, in the world of smartphone and Corporate services.This Mobile is a Very Good Piece but because of the Hype of BB in India they are Retailing it as a top premium handset, it deserves Nothing More then 15K.nIt have Nothing special in terms of hardware to charge such a premium even iPhone 4 seems to be cost effective in front of Blackberries.nand the services, blackberry is proud of also cost you Money (usually Carrier Billing) so such a price tag is BS.

Over priced.. well that could be the tag line for BB. Really wonder whats so "premium" about these devices when you have hundreds of mid size devices that have great spec's and at half the price. BB's are a let down.

I used this phone for 9 months,this phone sucks a big time.nA 10k android from Samsung or Micromax phone works better than this BB9860 at any given point of time.nnI am making an attempt to express how i am suffering from last 9 months by using this phone, i was so frustrated by its hanging i bought a different basic set for 1600 rupees which is now working very fine and i can even listen to FM at office.nnThis phone's main screen itself is a big trouble maker, it has notifications appearing place and calender one below the other and touch screen is so sensitive if you press on notification menu almost all the time calender pops up and it will ask to create an appointment, you need to press at least 2 to 3 options to go back to main screen again to see the notifications. nnThis phone will decide when you have to make a call, i mean and i literally mean this dial pad opens with delay of few minutes to display the dial pad.nnOnce you press the red button to cut the call, again this phone will decide to show you the main screen to make other actions.nnWhatsapp sucks and hangs a big time.nnApplication memory is too less and your memory card doesn't store or save the applications.nnIf you are a prepaid customer then you have to listen to its bad and most irritating alert tone for each and every message you sent and you have no control to reduce the volume of this alert tone, the only option is to keep the mobile in silent. nnYou cannot type a message properly, this keypad hangs like hell and you need to wait for each letter to appear on the screen and if you delete any letter then you have to wait for that letter to go off, this phone is damn slow.nnAnother keypad problem is if you touch a letter then the letter next to it gets on the screen, Touch screen calibration is too bad. nnCamera gets you good pics but again the problem is too slow or it just hangs, you need to wait until it is ready for the next pic.nnThere is nothing special in the software of this Blackberry, WiFi hot spot will not work for the normal blackberry service, you need to get some other GPRS stuff it seems.nnYou will get frustrated or irritated only by the alerts and pop ups like "do you want to save" etc which takes most of the hanging time. nnWhen you connect to Computer using USB, again it takes a lot of time.nnnNavigation or GPS whatever it may be but it will not work properly.nnThis phone's keypad tilts abruptly while messaging which is very frustrating and there is no rotation lock.nnThe only good thing i can say is, the look of this handset and email functionality. nListening to music is good but again be careful while selecting songs you will touch one song and it will play the other one. Not at all user friendlynnI think we cannot switch of this phone using the power button, we need to remove the battery and put it back again to restart it which takes ages to restart :(nnthe most embarrassing thing is either mute button or loud speaker get activated during the call when the screen is touched by the chin, people near to you can listen to the person talking to you this has happened many times. nnYou will regret for buying this. Never buy this phone just because it irritates you a lot. You cannot handle this with an ease. I do not how many times i have thrown this phone against the wall. nnI will not suggest this phone even for my enemy and i will not recommend you to take this phone even though someone like me is giving for free :) .

This is a very ORDINARY phone like all other Blackberry phones. I had to buy it as my company server only supports BB and iphone. This has good features however like a good clarity for a 5 MP camera and reasonably good email services. However please use this phone or any other BB only if you are gifted by any near and dear ones. Some of the issues with this phone are extremely naggingnn1. EXTREMELY slow internet although I am a subscriber to the best and the most expensive plan of my service providern2. India happens to be out of the list of countries where MAPS are supported!! Can you beat it? Are we Beggars?n3. There is no secondary camera! They call themselves a corporates 1st choice, yet no scope of video conferencingn4. The phone hangs pretty often necessitating a complete switch-off requiring ages to reboot!n5. APPS.... wow!! You have to buy everything, the free stuff is really stuff and nonsense.

1.2 Ghz (Single Core) CPUn768 MB RAMn4 GB internal memnBB OS 7nnall this @ 30k ???nnI do not see the price tag justified at all :PnnThere are some much gr8 options for this price such as Galaxy S II , HTC Sensation XL etc.
