Beware of long Wash times

Applies to Bosch WAB10160 - Interesting fact, but nowhere is this specification given explicitly, so I want to highlight:nAnyone who has owned older generation IFB/Bosch machines will be surprised to know, for this machine, wash time for a 'Daily Wash' at 40C temp, using mixed moderately soiled clothes for this model is over 2 hours !!. As compared to Old IFB Supremo Machine using similar setting, it is under 1 hour !! Not clear why there is such as vast difference...nYou can speed up wash time in this model (WAB10160), with a separate 'Speed Perfect' push-button, but the load has to be limited to 3.5Kg. I Have not washed with this setting yet, but the manual says, it speeds up washing without specifying how much.nBY the way, you HAVE TO get Bosch service people to install, because they hold the guarantee card (not in the box, as for other appliances). And the service guy will somehow see that you are forced to buy an inlet water pipe adapter at Rs.300/-,which in an outside hardware shop would be available at about Rs.100/- !

Right choice !!
07 Dec 2015 By Suhas Jayaram On flipkart.com
It's been almost 2 months now that i have been using this product and after numerous washes i can say that going with Bosch was the right choice, German quality at it's best.nI got an awesome deal from Flipkart than retailers outside, hassle free delivery and service !!nThe only other consideration in mind before buying was IFB, both are good in their own ways, advantage over IFB is that Bosch is lot quieter when it comes to washing n drying which i checked n verified with my cousin who went with IFB recently, hopefully that helps the people who are confused which one to go for.nThe weight is on the really heavier side, could see a big difference coming from a top loader user earlier.nThe front loader does wash more effectively and consumes less water than a top loader, specially how it cleans the collar and folded sleeves of the shirt without any scrubbing required if u know wat i mean! FYI using surf excel matic front loader powder nDifferent modes with pre-set temperatures and wash timings, varying from approx. an hour to 4 hours max, so "Longer" wash times actually depends on the mode u select & quality n quantity of clothes.nI had to spend close to 2.5k extra for accessories with the installation guy like filter, cover, inlet/outlet extension pipes, 15V extension switch box to suit to my house specification so no complaints there.nnAll-in-all it's a one time buy with no second thoughts, no compromise, Bosch is Bosch, went with the best, got the best wash experience !!
