Hi,nI have recently purchased this washing machine. It's been two weeks and machine is working fine. But before you purchase this machine there are few things that you must check forn1) space : its very basic but still very important. Look at the dimensions of the machine and make sure you have that kind of free space also inlet and outlet should be nearby.nVery important Bosch doesnt give you any warranty if your machine is installed in bathroom or mounted on the stand. For Bosch machine should be out side the bathroom and floor mounted. This upsated me a lot. n2) Water Pressure: it not mentioned anywhere but this machine needs minimum stipulated water pressure. (8 liter per minute)nI contacted the service center the lady said if one liter bottle gets filled in 6 seconds then you hhave enough water pressure.nI didn't know this before purchasing. Sometime I am facing problem of machine showing error code E-17. Which indicate the low water pressure.nI hope buyers will Criss check these things before taking the actual buying decision. nFor me it's premature to talk about the performance of the machine I will write about that in a month. nThis festive time, lot of offers are given by online shopping portals, there is tremendous pressure on buyers before the offers are for limited time and this decisions are taken hastily. I am writing this so can you can take a more informed decision. nWish you the best.

The product is rock solid. Very low vibration.nWater and detergent requirement is unbelievably low. Around 2 buckets of water for a regular wash load. No complaints on the wash quality. nnLost a star for service network. The technician got in touch around 48hrs after product delivery. The call center had all my details, but had no idea who was to service the request.

Please dont buy Bosch products. My washing machine got rust under the body just after two months of usage. Poor quality parts. Service charges are also very high. Very unhappy. Can't even give it a 0.5 rating.

I was highly apprehensive on buying a washing machine from an online retailer. But, on finding that the local stores were trying to push off older models, I finally decided to buy it from flipkart.com, since flipkart is the only online retailer that is yet to fail me.nnIt was a nerve biting experience, since I had never purchased any thing as huge as a washing machine online. When I discovered that flipkart had chosen GATI couriers for delivery, I was frightened because I had a very bad experience with them. But it soon turned out that the washing machine had reached my home in a very good condition and in a reasonable time. The packing was excellent and the GATI delivery service personnel were polite.nnBOSCH service personnel came to our house immediately for installation and demo. This is where BOSCH and IFB stands out. The service engineers were polite, knowledgeable and honest. They did all checks like water pressure, water quality and didn't recommend any unwanted accessories. nnThen came the problem. After a week, when I opened the washing machine door for loading the clothes, nearly 10 liters of water gushed out of the machine. I was aghast and registered a complaint with BOSCH and service engineers turned up immediately on the next working day. They couldn't discover any problem in the machine and advised me to inform them if the problem persisted.nnI simulated the possible causes and finally discovered that the safety mechanism to lock the door perennially if water is present inside the tub, is not available in BOSCH and SIEMENS. Imagine there is a power failure, the users can automatically open the door after 10 minutes. Any accidental opening will result in water gushing out of the machine. I later found out that someone had accidentally operated the machine without clothes inside and then switched off the machine, which resulted in draining of water from the tub to the floor, when the door was opened.nnI was deeply disappointed with this feature, which is not suitable for a country like India, having chronic power shortage. Anyway, since I had purchased the machine without going in deep about its features, I decided to get on with it. There are no other problems. The noise level is very low and vibration is unbelievably less, compared to other machines of other makes. The cleaning quality is very good and dries enough for an 800 rpm machine. There is no heat development and unwanted power consumption. The BOSCH service personnel are very happy to help us.nnAnother disappointment is the flipkart customer service. The persons attending the phone have communication problems. When the washing machine was yet to be delivered, I was facing a lot of calls from customer service requesting me to immediately inform them after the delivery so as to arrange installation personnel. But after I contacted them after delivery, they were too confused and I had to call BOSCH directly, who immediately dispatched the engineers. A week after installation, someone from the flipkart customer service again contacted me for confirmation to send BOSCH personnel and I was annoyed at their lack of co-ordination. Nevertheless, the packing was so great that the installation team were deeply impressed with flipkart.com.nnPROS:n1) Less Noise and vibrationn2) Less power consumptionn3) Good customer servicen4) Good washing qualityn5) BOSCH doesn't recommend unwanted accessoriesnnCONS:n1) Safety door lock mechanism not adequate.n2) 800 RPM is quite low for drying and 1000 RPM machines, may be better.n3) Price is very highn4) Warranty period is very low compared to IFB.nnBefore purchasing, I contacted BOSCH and asked them why at all I should purchase a washing machine that is so costly and have lesser warranty compared to IFB and LG. They replied that their machine is better than others, because its BOSCH.
