Hi, Using this cam for almost a month now and its been pure delight using it. You get awesome picture clarity and details both indoor and outdoor. The HS system works like a gem . It gives you unmatched picture details and quality when shooting in low light conditions. Colors come awesome and it has cool effects too, You can shoot high speed movies both in 120 & 240 fps. If you are considering this vs the 220HS i recommend going for this one and save some bucks, bcoz from all the reviews i read there were no major advantage of 220HS vs this one. The 220HS has a 5X zoom & 24mm wide angle lens so if you prefer more wide angle go for 220HS, Though the 28mm lens in 115HS is also real wide angle . 5x doesn't matter since there is little difference b/w 112 & 120 mm @ max zoom. 115HS has no optical zooming while video recording whereas 220HS has optical zooming but its real slow, Also 220HS has auto focus in video mode whereas 115HS has no auto focus while recording videos. Picture quality in 115HS is more than 220HS , SO if you are more of a picture taker and occasional videographer i recommend the Canon IXUS 115HS . Its quality is unmatched and in a different league setting it apart from most point & shoot cameras Take One and you won't regret buying this beauty . And Canon is canon , nobody can beat it ..!
Excellent features. Noise is very less in photos. The scenes given by them are awsome. Especially the My Color feature which boosts the colour which u want, by which u can take excellent pictures of Landscapes. Also the long shutter option. The slow motion movie is the best in the lot. It really rocks. Only issue with that is since it takes 120/240fps videos, the pic quality suffers which is bearable and expected. HD Video clarity and sound clarity is amazing. Crystal clear sound.
