User Reviews for Canon PowerShot SX520 HS Bridge Camera

If you are searching for a so called bridged camera or high zoom camera within Rs.15,000/- with specification of lithium battery, above 30x optical zoom, manual control this the best you will get. And in case you are wondering how come it is priced less than the Canon SX510 HS being a 42x optical zoom camera while the sx 510 hs is a 30x zoom, I think the only valid logic will be that it lacks the wi-fi connectivity option which sx 510 hs has, else in almost all comparing categories it excels the sx510 hs.

Canon SX520 is a very good P&S Camera. I have been using it for 2 weeks and it did not disappoint me. Low light focusing is some what slow. In day light its Awesome. For camera i can give 7 out of 10. But for flipkart, its 2 out of 10. 2 is for its delivery. Since the camera released, its price has been changed many times. I got it for 11250(from app and with credit card discount) while it is being sold at 12999. Now the price is dropped by 2000 in 2 weeks. If this camera is worth of 10999 why cant flikart sell it with the same price since beginning. Flipkart, Always dont look for new customers, keep in mind that existing customers are the key for your business..

I purchased this camera a week back during offer at Rs.10999. Delivered in 3 days, hats off to flipcart. Camera is brilliant, very light weight, awesome controls, excellent zoom. Manual controls are also very good. Below are the contents of the package. 1) Camera bag (decent) 2) 8 GB SD card 3) Camera 4) Battery 5) Charger & power cord 6) Camera strap 7) USB cable A camera having these features within this price range is nearly impossible to get in the market.

Hi Friends,nnnnLot of people are writing their opinions about this camera which is good to help others to make easy purchase so I thought to write too but before review I'd like to mention here something important.nnI went to a digital store near by my home for screen guard. The sales person asked me to show the camera. when he took and checked, he was like Wow very nice camera in digital camera range. He asked me that from where I bought it, I said from Flipkart then he started telling me that Flipkart doesn't provides good product because most of manufacturers are not providing service warranty and I would have to buy it from any shop of electronic mall. I came back to my house without screen guard and opened my box to find the warranty card. There it was written to visit Canon website to register ther product to avail extended 2 years warranty. I registered it and successfully got the two years warranty confirmation over e-mail.nnSo don't listen to anyone and first check with manufacturer whether you will get service warranty or not if you buy from Flipkart.nnNow coming to review, Its been a week using this camera. First of all price range is very low so you cannot expect a high end camera but you won't get a better camera then SX520HS in this price range either.nnThere are n numbers of good thing about this camera like exceptional zoom, nice and decent color production, image stabilization, a really nice recording feature. over all it has impressed me a lot.nnI found negative things are body quality because of plastic built, a little slow focus and pictures are bit noisy when zoom in but ignoring these things I loved it because image quality is crispy and sharp as compare to other camera like Nikon and Sony in this price range. Zoom and focus is very smooth in video recording and you will feel that video has recorded by a high end camera.nnOverall camera is nice, decent and worth of money. And yes a big thank you to Flipkart for their delivery service and for affordable price.nnHope my opinion will be helpful.nnRegards,nnJaved

its very nice gift by canon n flipkart to me very much satisfied awesome zoom can able to zoom craters of moon cmos sensor and a very good battery back up for battery backup u have to charge it for 12 hrs atleast for first time then after u can use it normally coming to flipkart service very nicely packed quik delivery
